Booking option: By kayak or SUP through the golden bay of Coelha

This sporty coastal tour starts at the marina of Albufeira on board of a small catamaran which takes up to 30 passengers as well as all equipment to the golden bay of Coelha. There, we prepare ourselves for a kayak tour and/or the stand-up paddling alongside the coast. Beginners are welcome on this guided expedition. Our professional coaches will introduce you to kayaking and Stand Up Paddling (SUP) in advance, so that all participants of this tour glide safely over the sea. You will paddle along the magnificent cliffs and, if the tides allow, you will also be able to enter hidden caves and explore the unspoilt Algarve coast. For the adventure in the kayak or on the SUP board we will take 90 minutes. After a little refreshment in the sea, we return to Albufeira on the catamaran.

Albufeira coastal tour: by kayak or SUP through the bay of Coelha

Imagine you are paddling towards a beach hidden between large cliffs and enter a small paradise, as it is usually only seen in pictures. The Algarve's rugged coastline reveals some of these scenes when approached by sea. With the bay of Coelha we discover a real gem during the Albufeira Coastal Tour by kayak or SUP. This place is framed by high, warm shining cliffs. Even from a distance you can see grottos and caves that make this place perfect for our water sports adventure in the Algarve.

We start our trip aboard a small catamaran in the marina of Albufeira. With a maximum of 30 passengers and 3 crew members as well as the equipment on board we head west and arrive shortly afterwards at Praia da Coehla. There we launch the kayaks and paddle boards to make our way along the coastline and the magnificent cliffs. The guided kayak and SUP tour is suitable for beginners, also for children with swimming skills. Our professional guides will give a detailed briefing on paddling techniques in the kayak or on the SUP board in advance. Both are easy to learn.

A choice of single and double kayaks is available for the kayak tour, depending on your preference. The SUP tour can be done standing or kneeling on the board, depending on your level of experience. Our guides are always ready to help if you have any questions. In kayak or SUP we paddle along the coastline of Coelha, through caves and towards a beach, where we can take a short break if the tides and weather permit. For the kayak or SUP tour at Praia da Coelha we take about 1.5 hours. Finally, you can take a refreshing swim before we put the equipment back on the catamaran and start the return trip to Albufeira.
