On this whale watching boat tour you will get to know the picturesque coast of the island and the princess island of Vila Franca do Campo and learn all about the best kept secrets of marine life in the heart of the Atlantic Ocean! The boat tour starts after check-in at the marina of Vila Franca do campo with information about the maritime life of the Azores. You will then board a zodiac and our lookout high inland will give you instructions via VHF radio where the boat will go - initially at high speed. Once we reach the area of the whales, we will slow down. Sea dwellers can be seen all year round. Sperm whales are native to the area along with 3 other species of whales and a rich marine biodiversity. Our knowledgeable guide will keep you updated on sightings and be ready to answer questions throughout the expedition. Upon return, the boat will circle the Princess Ring Island of Vila Franca do Campo for a close-up look at the volcanic wonder and the wildlife that lives there.

The boat tour is not suitable for children younger than 4 years, pregnant women, people with back problems, people in wheelchairs.
