Prior to conquering the coast and islands of Formentera with the licence-free boat, we give you an introduction at our base in S'Estany des Peix. To make sure you are familiar with everything, you will learn how to handle the Llaut in the master class, we explain the safety rules and suggest routes. A short navigation school accompanied by a captain is also part of the getting-to-know-you experience. When you feel safe, we cast off the lines and you can set off on the licence-free boat to your desired destination. We will keep in touch with you by mobile phone if there are any questions or problems.

The Llaüt is equipped with a sunshade, cool box, GPS and music system. Snorkelling equipment for swimming breaks is also on board. We have a model for up to 4 persons as well as a boat for up to 6 persons. Starting from Estany you can reach the wonderful islands of Espalmador and Ses Illetes as well as the white beach of Cala Saona with a full day trip. With a half-day rental, one of the two routes is possible.

Rent a boat in Formentera without a licence

Make your own boat tour along the coast line of Formentera with an authentic island boat. In Estany des Peix, not far from the port in La Savina, you can rent a traditional Llaüt and sail around Formentera without a licence. There is no doubt that discovering the crystal blue bays and islands of Formentera in this way is a unique experience. Lift the anchors and steer around the island as captain of one of the licence-free motor boats. Choose from a model for up to 4 people and a boat for up to 6 passengers. The opportunity to take the whole family or friends on a private boat trip around Formentera has never been better.

Many of the most beautiful destinations are within easy reach of Estany. If you hire the Llaüt for the whole day, you will have plenty of time to experience both Espalmador and the dream bay of Cala Saona. Snorkelling equipment for the swim break can be found on board. The standard equipment of the wooden boats includes an awning, GPS and a cool box for provisions. So you are well equipped for a day at sea and can enjoy the flair of the island world. It is also worth renting a boat on Formentera for half a day without a driving licence. In 4 hours you can choose a route and go to Espalmador and Ses Illetes, for example.

We will prepare you well for your boat trip and will also be in contact during it, should there be any questions or problems. Basically, the licence-free boats are easy to handle. Accompanied by one of our captains, you will receive a short driving lesson before setting off. Once you have gained enough confidence to handle the boat safely, you can set off on your journey. Our boats have the character of the typical fishing boats of the region. With them you will be able to feel the tranquillity and the authentic charm of Formentera.
