The boat trip starts late in the afternoon in Albufeira and takes you westwards on a coastal route. There you will pass dream beaches such as Armação de Pêra and some of the great grottos and caves of the Algarve, including the famous Benagil Grotto. On a secluded beach the boat finally anchors and you go ashore with the crew. In beautiful surroundings a barbecue is prepared with candlelight and music and you spend beautiful hours on the beach. In the late evening the catamaran starts for the return journey to Albufeira and during the night trip you enjoy the atmosphere on board and the lights of the coast. The total duration of the tour is approximately 6 hours.

You board a modern catamaran in the late afternoon and set off on an atmospheric boat trip into the sunset in Albufeira. Heading west, the magical light of the evening sky and the impressive coastal landscape of the Algarve await you. Within sight of land, the captain steers a few nautical miles past the imposing grottos and caves and the mighty cliffs, bays and long sandy beaches. Here you can take in the abundance of this picturesque holiday region and gain a completely new perspective from the water. A little adventure is also part of this evening catamaran trip: you will cover the short distance from the boat's mooring to the small dream beach in a dinghy.
The boat trip in the Algarve first takes you to the world-famous Benagil cave, which is rightly considered a natural wonder of the Algarve. The cave looks like a cathedral cast in stone when sunlight falls through the upper hole and the water and stone produce their own sound. Between Albufeira and Benagil lies the secluded beach that the captain has chosen for this atmospheric evening. A place that is not directly accessible from land and therefore offers a certain exclusivity. Candles and music will also create a romantic atmosphere on the beach while the crew prepares the barbecue for you. For the sunset dinner, you can choose between fish and meat with Algarve-style salad and seasonal fruit. A selection of drinks (beer, wine and sangria) on the beach is also included in the price, so you can choose your favourite spot and enjoy the wonderful evening atmosphere with a view of the water and the sunset.
The Algarve excursion with boat and BBQ lasts around 6 hours in total. This means you have plenty of time to enjoy your meal on the beach, relax with a drink in the open air and listen to the music played by a musician or DJ to the sound of the sea. With this entertaining atmosphere, we return to Albufeira later in the evening, passing the lights of the Algarve coast. On the journey home, savour once again the wonderful interplay of sea and coast and the wonderful impressions you gained on the boat trip and during the beach barbecue.

magical sunset experience
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience in the Algarve. The catamaran tour was breathtaking, sailing past beaches and caves that looked like something out of a dream. The stop on the beach for the barbecue was a lovely touch; the delicious food and live music created a magical atmosphere. The only downside was that it didn't include transport to the starting point, but once there, everything was spectacular. The sunset and the boat ride with the lights of the coast in the background was the perfect end to an unforgettable evening. This sunset boat trip in the Algarve is really something! Sailing along the beautiful coast, visiting the Benagil cave, and finishing with a barbecue on the beach - it's pure bliss. The food was delicious and the atmosphere with the music was perfect. However, the lack of a transfer included may be a drawback. Don't forget your sun cream and a jacket for the return journey. Ce tour en bateau au coucher du soleil en Algarve est vraiment quelque chose!
