Booking option: Boat trip along the southwest coast of Tenerife

Cared for by our experienced captain, the boat trip starts in the small fishing port of Playa San Juan. With a maximum of 11 passengers on board, this Tenerife boat tour will be a very close and personal experience. We cruise purposefully along the coast in search of whales, dolphins and turtles, throttling back the engine as soon as we encounter these wonderful sea creatures. When everything is very quiet, the whales can sometimes be heard breathing. On board you will enjoy the warm welcome and the vast knowledge of our skipper. Drinks and snack are included during this boat trip. Weather permitting, we will anchor in a bay for a swim stop. The San Juan boat tour is scheduled for 3 and 4 hours respectively. Depending on the swell, the route will take us north, past Los Gigantes and Masca, or towards La Gomera.

Whale and dolphin watching off the southwest coast of Tenerife aboard a comfortable motor yacht

Our captain always says it's like a lottery: you never know who will be there. But most of the time the luck is on his side and with his guests, when they leave Playa San Juan for a boat trip and search for whales and dolphins on the Atlantic Ocean. The skipper's experience pays off. He knows where the migratory routes of the marine mammals are and can often present the passengers of his small, well-kept motor yacht with the most beautiful natural spectacle of whale watching off Tenerife. Sometimes it is flying fish jumping around the boat, sometimes a turtle appears next to it. When the boat cruises near the protected zone off Tenerife's coast, the engine is throttled back so as not to spook or disturb the animals. There is little more touching than listening to whales breathing or watching dolphins play in the wild. For a moment we are guests in their habitat and the respect is accordingly great when we enter this territory. Besides all this, on the Tenerife boat trip we also want to pay attention to the island and look from the water at some of these wonderful coastal landscapes. Depending on the weather and sea state, we also plan to include a swim stop for the dolphin boat tour, for example in the bay of Masca. Some days we go even further north and stop in the bay of Agua Dulce.
