Detailed description

Neighbouring island discovery tour with dolphin watching in Lanzarote: boat trip to the island of Lobos

You will depart in the morning in the south or east at your hotel or nearby meeting point and be taken to the port of Puerto del Carmen. There the Isla de lobos ferry will take you on the Lanzarote boat tour to the small neighbouring island of Lobos. The small Canary Island is a popular destination for tourists because of its location between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. Lobos is located in a natural park, the "Parque Natural Las Dunas de Corralejo" y Isla de Lobos and is also popular with divers, surfers and anglers due to its crystal clear and turquoise water. But above all, snorkeling on Isla de Lobos is an absolute highlight for many. The island is also known as the Island of Seewolves. Unfortunately, the monk seals that used to live there have since become extinct, so that the name has no longer any justification. The boat trip on Lanzarote will take you through a sea area where it is highly probable that you will see dolphins. Experience the fascinating marine mammals in their natural habitat. It is an indescribable feeling when the dolphins accompany the boat and jump out of the water again and again. The spotted dolphin can also be admired here. A guarantee for the sighting of the impressive sea animals during the Lanzarote boat tour cannot be given.

Once on the island, you will have plenty of time to explore Lobo's sights. During the boat tour from Lanzarote you will have the opportunity to explore it yourself and there are visits together with the guide who will accompany the tour. The excursion takes you to a small fishing village called El Puertito. There are no permanent islanders on Lobos, but some fishermen have a weekend cottage there. Your guide will tell you everything about the flora and fauna of the small volcanic island and you will visit the beautiful beach "Playa de la Concha". There you can relax with a picnic. Snacks and drinks are served. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the neighbouring island Fuerteventura in the beautiful bay. Full of lasting impressions and great motifs for your holiday album, the Lanzarote boat tour takes you back to the dock and you will start your return journey. Experience wonderful hours on the Isla de Lobos from Lanzarote and watch free-living dolphins in the Atlantic Ocean - an exciting combination!
