Fun and adventure in beautiful surroundings: buggy safari in Crete's mountain landscape
The exciting buggy safari in Crete's mountain world will inspire you. Experience adventurous hours as a driver or co-driver in wild, unspoilt nature away from the tourist resorts and immerse yourself in the Mediterranean scenery. It may well be that you have to stop on the way, because a herd of mountain goats block your way, but this is Crete! You will visit 11 to 12 small villages along the route and get to know the authentic Crete and its inhabitants. Therefore, a visit to a traditional kafenio is a must. This is how a village coffee house is called in Crete, which enjoys great popularity in the village community. You cross the area or drive on side roads and enjoy the wonderful mountain panorama with views to the coast of the Greek Mediterranean island, which is also called Island of the Gods. There will be enough stops during the activity, so that you can enrich your holiday album with fantastic pictures.
The 4-hour buggy safari in Crete from Rethymnon starts in the morning hours or in the afternoon. All vehicles are serviced regularly and you receive a briefing. The trip leads you over hill and dale on partly unpaved paths to hidden places that you as a holidaymaker normally do not get to see. You will dive into the flora and fauna of the mountain setting in an adventurous way, pass idyllically situated places and cross impressive gorges and river beds. Among other things, the trip will take you to the magnificent reservoir in the interior of the island, the Amari Dam Reservoir, and the two Cretan villages of Pantanassa and Patsos. A snack and water are included for refreshment. On this buggy tour you will experience the true Crete and learn interesting facts about the country and its people from the guide.
It is a mixed excursion, as both buggies and quads take part. Depending on the experience of the participants, the route can vary slightly. The buggies do not have to wear a helmet due to the open roof, unlike the quad safari in Crete from Rethymnon. This adventurous excursion takes you into a wonderful panorama as you drive up and down through the countryside. And the best thing is, you can also participate alone! Renting a quad in Crete is one possibility, but during the buggy safari you get to know the other participants and your guide shows you a lot of insider tips of the devine island.
Valid on the reserved day or for 12 months after date of purchase if no date has been selected. You will receive the tour operator's details with the purchased ticket. Attention: reservation is required! The reservation can be made through sunbonoo as part of the booking process or later by contacting the tour operator directly via phone or email.
