Detailed description

Beautiful panoramic bus tour through Barcelona

The visitor can see Barcelona as a city at sea: Modern beaches, vivid esplanades and inviting premises set up the scenery for various leisure activities - from sunbathing until museum visits. Today the feisty city quarter is throbbing, in which the industrial buildings and container blocked the views of the sea just two decades ago. On occasion of the Olympic games, the people of Barcelona discovered that the sea is not only great for fishing, trade and conquering, but also for leisure economy. Just behind the monument of Columbus, with which Barcelona is recalling the famous navigator, the new docklands of Barcelona begin and they're a perfect example for a well-planned city. A modern pedestrian bridge continues to lead the people from the Ramblas to the harbour. The old harbour with its historical docks and the Gothic shipyard halls were integrated in a new leisure quarter. Next to Europe's biggest aquarium, you can enjoy hip restaurants and cinemas.

The bus tour through Barcelona's harbour quarter leads you to the most beautiful sights of the quarter, where you'll be able to admire the great combination of old and new architecture. The city tour brings you to the mountain of Barcelona, Montjuic, where you'll have breathtaking views over the docklands from the viewpoint Mirador de Miramar. Fans of architecture will be delighted by the Olympic area next to the mountain. The elegant Torre Calatrava nowadays is only used as a radio tower and has a high symbolic value. It reminds of an athlete carrying the Olympic fire. Various traditional architectural styles can be studied on the foothills of Montjuic in Barcelona: You'll have plenty of time for a relaxed stroll through the Spanish village, the open air museum Poble Espanol, at the end of the city bus tour. The entry fee is included in the price.

Conventional and professional

Of course, a professional bus city tour is offered here. I also found the two and a half hours well structured. However, I took advantage of this offer 4 years ago: https://www.sunbonoo.com/de/city-sightseeing-bus-barcelona-4225 and I have to say that it deserves 5 stars and is also cheaper...

Konventionell und professionell

Klar eine professionelle Bus-Stadtführung wird hier angeboten. Ich fand die zweieinhalb Stunden auch gut strukturiert. Allerdings habe ich vor 4 Jahren dieses Angebot wahrgenommen:

https://www.sunbonoo.com/de/city-sightseeing-bus-barcelona-4225

und ich muss sagen, das hat 5 Sterne verdient und ist zudem noch billiger…

Friendly vibes

I travelled to Barcelona on my own and I met some great people on this tour. The driver was amazing, and he set the tone for the rest of the us. I spent the evening with some of my new buddies as well. You get to see the best bits in Barcelona and cut out any of the unnecessary stuff.

Pueblo Espanyol was stunning

My sisters were most looking forward to Pueblo Espanyol and talked me into this tour but in the end, I had more fun than them. Overall, we all rated it highly.

See the best of Barcelona

My husband and I went to Barcelona a few times when we were younger, but we spent most of our time on the beach and chomping on tapas so this time round we wanted to actually see what the fuss is all about in Barcelona and we were able to do that without getting hot and bothered.
