Detailed description

Fataga: Camel ride in the valley of 1000 palms on Gran Canaria

Fataga looks like a fairy tale. The nature park with its centuries-old palm forests is a predestinated place and ideal for a camel ride on Gran Canaria. You will be captured by the unique atmosphere of the Spanish Orient and on the back of the trusting hoofed animals you will get a very special connection to this landscape. The camels are already saddled so that the tour can start directly.

The expedition takes place in a convoi and the camels walk one after the other. The group is led by an experienced guide. During this camel tour in the south of Gran Canaria you will pass through an area of particular historical and geographical interest. You will also get to know one of the first settlements of the Canarian natives, which is still an authentic heritage today. The inhabitants of Arteara are dedicated to the cultivation of mango, papaya, orange, fig and guava trees.

After the camel safari in the valley of 1000 palm trees you will have time to get to know the park and take pictures with the camels. If you want to take a lasting memory of this camel ride in Gran Canaria, we recommend the camel driving licence, which you can get after the passed camel tour. In the camel park you can take part in a short tour through the tropical garden and also get to know the other animals. Besides baby camels, there are also goats, donkeys and peacocks.
