A Corfu boat trip could not be more individual: the private sailing trip starts in the morning in the port of Gouvia, not far from Corfu town. On board you will be welcomed by the skipper, a native of Corfu who knows his island and the sailing area. The sailing trip takes you along the central east coast of Corfu, past the old town of Corfu with the two Venetian fortresses into the bay of Garitsa. Here almost always some super yachts are anchored. We plan our next stop off Mouse Island, a small, sweet island with a Byzantine chapel and cypress landscape. From there we sail on to Vido Island, where we can swim and relax in the crystal clear water. The island Lazareto will be the second bathing stop on the half day tour. The trip to the northeast coast of Corfu with various bathing stops at places that can only be reached by boat will be part of our 8-hour sailing tour. There will also be the possibility to have lunch in a restaurant by the sea (not included). Both options include drinks and snacks.

Private sailing trip along the east coast of Corfu with skipper, bathing stops and great comfort

A sailing tour on Corfu for all who want to get to know the island individually and relaxed. For this you don't necessarily need much, but a few factors in the right combination. With the private sailing tour on the east coast you can count on an experienced, humorous skipper, a comfortable boat and the sea feeling. The sailing trip starts in the bay of Gouvia, only a few minutes by car from Corfu town and the cruise port. If the weather conditions of the day allow it, on this boat trip you will be surrounded by the beautiful sound of sailing and the azure blue colour of the Ionian Sea.

If there is no wind, an engine will take us forward at 6 knots. This pretty sailing boat has a spacious deck where you can sit up to 8 people. Your skipper is a native of Corfu and is well acquainted with both the sailing area and the history of the island. He will be happy to tell you more about the sights of Corfu that you will pass during the sailing boat trip from the sea side. This includes especially the silhouette of Corfu town with its impressive fortresses. You have a particularly good view of the south side of the Venetian fortress in the bay of Garitsa. Many super yachts also anchor there.

The private sailing tour off Corfu takes a course to the north or south, depending on the desired duration. The bathing stop off Mouse Island is definitely part of the program in both. The cute little island with the Byzantine chapel is a beautiful snorkeling area and belongs to the places that are really only accessible by boat. Another natural jewel with enchanting shades of blue is Vido Island, a local recreation area for the inhabitants of the island capital and tourists from all over the world. Another bathing stop is planned at the manageable island Lazareto, which is about 2 nautical miles away from Corfu City and has a very eventful history.

Should we have a little more time for the Corfu sailing trip, we will also get to know the north-east coast of the island. During the approximately 8-hour sailing trip we can also drop anchor for lunch if desired. Nevertheless, the welcoming skipper will be pleased to serve you with snacks and drinks on board. Snorkelling equipment, beach towels and swimming noodles are also provided.
