Detailed description
By tuk tuk to the Caldera del Rey in Costa Adeje
Join us on an unusual tuk-tuk excursion in the surroundings of Costa Adeje. With our environmentally friendly three-wheeled vehicles, we drive to the natural monument Caldera del Rey - a huge, flat crater with banana plantations and protected parkland. The caldera is a natural highlight on Tenerife, but is a little out of walking distance of the surrounding towns. We cover the route in a relaxed and unhurried manner by tuk-tuk. From Costa Adeje, we first pass the marina of Puerto Colon with its extensive range of water sports. During the journey, we learn interesting facts about the history of the town from our tour guide. The Magma Arte & Congresos ensemble is also on our way. At the hidden volcanic natural monument "Caldera del Rey", the guide explains the geological origin of its formations, with a view of endless banana plantations, the secrets and curiosities of our Canarian bananas and their connection to the history of the indigenous people "Guanches".
