Enjoy a complete beach day in Crete at the most popular beaches of Greece: Falasarna and Elafonissi. Both beaches are located by the west coast of Crete. You will get there with our professional guide and driver on board a comfortable mini bus (up to 19 persons). The beach tour starts in the morning in Chania and includes transfers from numerous resorts in the catchment area of the city. First stop of the 10-hour day trip is the place Vouves, where we will visit the oldest olive tree in the world and the Olive Tree Museum. The tour continues west to Falasarna, a white sandy beach that welcomes us with its clear turquoise sea. After a nice swim and beach break we follow the west coast for a while until we reach the paradise beach of Elafonisi. Swim in the shallow turquoise waters, explore the fine pink sand and exotic small lagoons, ideal for children.

The beach tour includes a coffee and olive oil tasting in a traditional kafenion, there are sandwiches for the journey and even the beach umbrellas are provided!

Beach tour from Chania to Falassarna and Elafonissi by minibus

For this full-service beach tour you only need to bring your swimming suit and towel, everything else is already packed. We even thought of the parasols for the beach day on Crete. Together we will discover the dream beaches of Falasarna (Falassarna) and Elafonisi (Elafonissi) on this day trip. Both belong to the most beautiful beaches of Greece and even the world. And anyone who has ever stood in the shallow waters around the protected Elafonisi Island will know why. Also the bright white beach of Falasarna deserves admiration. Both beaches are located on the west and south-west coast of Crete. We travel there from Chania in an air-conditioned bus with a maximum of 19 people on board. The journey leads through the Cretan village landscape and has a first highlight ready right at the beginning. We visit the olive oil museum and the oldest olive tree in the world in Vouves. A coffee and olive oil tasting is included in this stop.

That you spend your holiday at the Mediterranean Sea and not in the South Seas you might have completely forgotten at the latest at Elafonisi beach. Everything about this small paradise seems exotic: the lagoon, the pink coral sand, the protected island of Elafonisi, the many small sandy beaches and the shallow water through which you can wade for practically miles. A beautiful bathing paradise also for very small children. For day visitors similarly attractive as Elafonisi is the beach of Falarsana, the second stop of our Chania Beach Tour. Also here some beautiful sandy beaches are lined up and the turquoise, clean sea is at your feet. About 5 hours of our beach tour are left for swimming and sunbathing alone on the two most beautiful beaches of Crete. The time in the minibus will certainly not seem boring to you either. We have WiFi on board and you can watch an audiovisual presentation about Cretan customs. We must not forget to mention the wonderful landscape we will see on this bus tour between the north and south west coast.

The Elafonisi beach tour also includes a small lunch box with sandwiches and chilled drinks that will refresh you along the way. After a great day on the beach we will reach Chania city in the evening, or one of the transfer points in the area up to Kolymvari. For guests from this area the transfer is free of charge.
