Option 1: Bus tour to the Teide in Tenerife - with cable car

This Teide tour also includes a ticket for the cable car, which takes you up to 200 metres below the summit of Teide. You have to plan 10 to 15 minutes for the round trip with the cable car. At the top you have about 30 minutes time to enjoy the impressive view over the volcanic country during the tour on Tenerife to the Teide.

Option 2: Bus tour to the Teide in Tenerife - without cable car

After the pick up for the Teide Tour on Tenerife by bus you start the ascent through the wonderful landscape of the Canary Island via Vilaflor, a small Spanish village with the famous pine "Pino Gordo" (translated: "thick pine"). When you arrived in the Teide National Park you have about 1 hour time to explore this beautiful place on your own and to enjoy the view of Spain's largest mountain and impressive rock formations of volcanic rock. The return journey on the tour to the Teide on Tenerife leads you again through a dreamlike environment of the Canary Island, past picturesque small towns and villages until you are dropped off again at your starting point in the afternoon.

Take this tour by bus to the Teide in Tenerife and hop on a cable car to the very top (if you dare)

For all of those who don't want to miss out on the highest mountain in Spain during their holiday, the tour in Tenerife to the Teide is a "must". The price includes a pick up from various tourist resorts in the south and southwest of the Canary Island. The half-day excursion to the Teide National Park in Tenerife starts at around 9am. You slip through the small typical Spanish village of Vilaflor which is full of pine trees. Before you know it, you'll be super high up and able to admire the unique volcanic landscape and everything that surrounds it. You get to the Teide National Park at approx. 11am. If you're feeling brave or if heights don't phase you then the 200m-high cable car ride should certainly be on the cards. The journey going back down takes between 10 and 15 minutes. You get to spend around 30 minutes at the top in awe of the magic of the place. 

Climbing is unfortunately not possible on this half-day Teide Excursion in Tenerife due to the rules and the short time window. The ride in the cable car is highly dependent on weather conditions and can't be promised on those grounds. But even without a cable car ticket, the trip to Teide in Tenerife is worth doing, it's a tremendously peaceful experience full of stunning views and a closer look at nature. Spend an hour strolling around and feasting your eyes on the fabulous "Roques de Garcia" and the terrific Teide. If you fancy it, relax with a coffee and some snacks (not included in the price) or have a look around in one of the souvenir shops. The Teide trip in Tenerife carries on, going through Santiago del Teide and finishes arounf 2.00pm.
