40 km afar from Barcelona, you can find the legendary mountain Montserrat. With its 1,236 m high peak and the impressive sanctuary Santa Maria de Montserrat, the sandstone mountain range is one of the landmarks of Catalonia. In the pilgrimage church, the famous black Madonna and patron saint of the Catalan is worshipped. The famous boys' choir l'Escolania de Montserrat sings every evening together with the monks for Vesper.

The bus tours start every weekday from Barcelona to Montserrat.
