The north of Fuerteventura can be discovered during a day trip to Corralejo. The destination is known for its unique dune landscape, but also for its beaches. If you stay in the east of the island, you can board an air-conditioned bus in Caleta de Fuste or Puerto del Rosario and continue north along the coastal road. In Corralejo you will have a stay of several hours to explore the town and its surroundings. The day trip from Caleta de Fuste can also be booked with a visit to El Cotillo. Option 1: Day trip Corralejo

Corralejo is the main holiday centre in Fuerteventura. A visit to the north of the island can be combined with sightseeing and sunbathing. You can expect incredible beaches with views of Lanzarote and Lobos in Corralejo. For the day trip you will be picked up in Caleta de Fuste or Puerto del Rosario in the morning and reach the city, famous for its dunes, via the scenic coastal road. Discover the historic centre, the shops and the promenade of Corralejo and take your time to get to know the beaches. The return journey to Caleta de Fuste is scheduled for 04:00 pm.

Option 2: Day trip Corralejo and El Cotillo

You may combine your visit to Corralejo with a stay in El Cotillo. The fishing village in the north is well known for its white beaches and coves with turquoise water. You will be picked up in the morning in Caleta de Fuste or Puerto del Rosario. In the air-conditioned bus drive along the coastal road to Corralejo. There one of Fuerteventura's biggest handicraft markets opens every Sunday. Let yourself be carried away by the hustle and bustle. After two hours we meet at the main entrance of the market and continue to Cotillo. There we have planned 3 hours of free time to relax on one of the beautiful beaches or enjoy fresh fish in one of the restaurants. At 4:00 pm we drive back to Caleta de Fuste.

Day trip from Caleta de Fuste to Corralejo & El Cotillo

Corralejo belongs to the northern tip of Fuerteventura and is the second largest tourist area on the island. The region is known and loved mainly because of the dunes, but also because of its beautiful beaches and bays with crystal clear water. Whoever is on holiday on the east coast of the island can get to know an important and charming part of the island by taking a day trip to Corralejo. The organized tour from Caleta de Fuste is comfortable and offers enough time to get to know the northern part of the island. You will be picked up in the morning in an air-conditioned bus and will travel directly to Corralejo. On the way you enjoy first impressions of the landscape along the coastal road and reach Corralejo after a short driving time.

It was once a small fishing village, but despite its development into one of the most important holiday centres, it has retained its charm and is a popular destination for many people because of its excellent infrastructure. During your stay in Corralejo you can let yourself drift, stroll through the alleys and shopping streets or watch the beach activity on the promenade. Twice a week the day trip to Corralejo is supplemented by another destination: El Cotillo. The small fishing village at the north-west radiates a lot of the originality of the Canarian Islands. Tourist masses are rather not to be expected here and so mainly individual travellers come here to enjoy the quietness of Cotillo and the white beaches. A paradise for surfers and sun worshippers extends over several kilometres without being really crowded.

A day trip from Caleta de Fuste to Corralejo can also be combined with a visit to Cotillo. In this way you will get to know two of the most important destinations in the north of Fuerteventura. This day trip also starts in Caleta de Fuste with the pick up and the transfer via the coastal road to Corralejo.  There you will have time to visit the handicraft market, which opens every Sunday. Beside classical souvenirs you can buy here also very individual goods and works of art. We plan to stay for two hours in Corralejo and then set off for Cotillo in the northwest. There you have free time until the afternoon, before the bus leaves at 16:00 o'clock back to Caleta de Fuste. Enjoy the flair of the coastal town, visit one of the beautiful bays or have freshly caught fish prepared in one of the restaurants by the sea.
