Description

Go diving in Ibiza - Sant Antonio (west coast)

Ibiza has an enchanting, Mediterranean underwater world with a varying landscape and a diverse flora and fauna. You can choose between the following options:

1) trial dive in Ibiza - "Discover Scuba Diving" (DSD)

At a trial dive in Ibiza you can check out if diving is something you like to do. An experienced dive instructor will explain you the most important theory you need to know about diving in approx. 30 min. During this, you'll be driving by boat to the dive spot located closely to the dive center. After the introduction, you'll be putting on the whole diving gear for the first time and start your first, approx. 30 min scube dive, that will take you down to up to 12 m depth. Down there you can spot numerous fish as well as octopus, starfish and many other sea creatures. If you want, you can continue snorkeling after your dive, before the boat takes you back.

Duration: at all approx. 3 hours
Included: equipment, insurance, dive instructor
Minimum age: 10 years

2) dive course in Ibiza - "Open Water Diver" (OWD)

The PADI Open Water Diver course in Ibiza takes around 4-5 days and prepares you to dive on your own with theory classes (which you can also finish online in English before your holidays) and several lessons in the swimming pool and the sea. First, you'll learn important snorkeling- and freediving abilities, like for example to breathe underwater through a snorkel without wearing a mask, or the right submerging technique. After this, you'll learn the correct putting on and maintainance of the diving gear and -equipment. An experienced dive instructor will be continuously accompanying you and show you not only the correct and safe diving, but also the beautiful dive site Ibiza. After finishing the OWD course, you can dive world-wide together with a buddy down to max. 18 m.

Duration: approx. 4-5 days with each day 4-5 hours

Not Included: PADI fees for the diver certification
Requirements: minimum age 10 years + medical dive certificate

3) Organised dives in Ibiza

If you're already an experienced diver, you can join the guided dive excursions in Ibiza west. The dive center will bring you to the most beautiful dive spots in the area, for example to Cala Salada or to the area around Punta Galera. In the rock formations, you can find numerous fish and plants as well as octopus, starfish, crabs and morays. Ibiza also offers many dive possibilities in caves and islands in front of the coast.

Included: complete diving equipment, transfer by boat to the dive site and back
Not included: Insurance can be booked on site if required (at an extra charge)

Important information

For participating in the dive course, you'll need to bring a medical certificate, which you can acquire from your doctor / dive doctor.
The theoretical part of the dive course can also be finished upfront at home. After booking the course, you can access the internationally standardised lections online in your desired language, so you only have to pass the pratical exercises during your holidays.

Conditions
