Discover Lanzarote, an impressive volcanic island in the archipelago that makes up the Canary Islands. Located in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa, this group of Spanish islands can provide you with some unforgettable sights, not just on land. The rocky slopes that glimmer with fire in the sun and black stony deserts drop down into an underwater world, which allows a glimpse of how a wide variety of species live between the reefs and the cliffs. One particular recommendation is to go diving near Playa Blanca, which is one of the few white sandy beaches in the south of Lanzarote.

Learn the theoretical instruction and all of the facts you need to know, whilst having fun during action-packed practical dives on this 4-day diving course with a total of 4 exciting dives in the open sea. At the end you will be given an SSI-certified diving certificate, which allows you to dive to a depth of 18 metres anywhere in the world. You will be taught all of the theory in an accessible way during the first two days of the course (each from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and be introduced to how to apply the safety rules and use the equipment properly when you then get to practise what you have learnt in the ocean.

The practical sessions then include 5 shallow water dives on Lanzarote, so that you can build up your experience of diving. You start with your head directly under the surface of the water as a trial dive, then you go deeper as soon as you feel comfortable. Afterwards the professional dive guide will take you to the Atlantic Ocean off Playa Blanca on Lanzarote to start with 2 dives up to 12 metres and then 2 more, during which you will get a real taste of the sea at a depth of 18 metres. You will be able to use this experience, the expertise and SSI certification you gain on the Lanzarote diving course for the rest of your life, so it provides an ideal start for even more diving adventures.
