As our diving location is located along the north and south coast of Crete, you have the opportunity to discover the diverse and contrasting marine life and the typical oceanography of the Aegean and Libyan Seas.

Option 1: Discover snorkelling in Crete

The day starts with our pick-up service around 8.30 am. We then drive them to our dive center in Georgioupolis or south of Rethimno, where we start with a small briefing that explains everything they need to know before they jump into the sea.

Diving under water takes about 45 minutes, depending on the air consumption of everyone at a maximum depth of 6 metres.

The day usually starts around 8.30 am. For night dives and other possible arrangements this time varies. We then drive you to our dive center in Georgioupolis or south of Rethimno - depending on what we have to do and make our first dive. After a break we make the second dive. After lunch you will be driven back to the hotel.

The day usually starts around 8.30 am. For night dives and other possible arrangements this time varies. We then drive you to our dive center in Georgioupolis or - depending on what is to come - south of Rethimno and make our first dive. After a break we make the second dive. After lunch you will be driven back to the hotel.

• A basic equipment can be borrowed for an extra charge!
• Tanks and lead are included in the price.

Snorkelling or diving in Crete are the best ways to discover the underwater world. It is a special way of life, through which you are enriched by snorkeling or your first diving experience. Experienced divers can explore the diving area sportively or dare their first night dive.

Our diving centre in Crete offers diving courses and training to meet all requirements. We have a wide range of modern and safe diving equipment and also offer PADI diving courses with international recognition.

Snorkelling is a great opportunity to develop interest and curiosity for the richness of the underwater world and the conservation of biodiversity. With its great variety of colours, textures and animal species, including a number of living creatures such as sponges, sea anemones and sea squirts, the hidden world of the seabed is a constant source of surprises.

Crete is an ideal place for snorkelling as the water is relatively warm and very clear. Although any rocky bay is good for diving or snorkelling and exploring the seabed, the waters of the south coast are particularly recommended, as the restrictions on fishing ensure that the marine fauna is richer.
