However, in your own interest and to be on the safe side, it is best to have a diving fitness examination (TTU) carried out before you start your holiday, during which your doctor or a specialised diving doctor will determine whether you are able to cope with the physical and mental strain of diving. If you are over 40 years old, a TTU is mandatory.
