Diving in Mallorca: an underwater experience
Take advantage of a holiday on the sunny island of Mallorca to go diving in the Mediterranean. We have summarised the most important information about diving for you here. Find out where you can best dive in Mallorca, what you should look out for when choosing a diving school, how the diving fitness test works and whether diving in Mallorca is also suitable for children. Diving is a versatile hobby with almost unlimited possibilities, and the conditions in Mallorca are ideal for learning to dive.
1. are you a diving beginner or do you already have diving experience?
For absolute beginners, we recommend a trial dive to try out diving in Mallorca without any obligation. During a trial dive (the so-called "Discover Scuba Diving" programme), you will first learn the most important theory and then go into the water for the first time with a diving instructor to get used to the feeling of scuba diving. Taster dives are offered throughout the island, for example at Playa de Palma, in Portocolom or in Port d'Andratx.
If you would like to start diving in Mallorca right away and complete the international diving licence - the "Open Water Diver" diving course - you should find out about the requirements in advance via the links below and have the diving fitness test carried out before you learn to dive in just 3-5 days during your holiday in Mallorca.
As an experienced diver, you can dive at our partner diving schools on the picturesque east coast in Portocolom, in Santa Ponsa on the south-west coast very close to beautiful marine reserves or on the nature-protected island archipelago of Cabrera off Mallorca. If you would like to go on a diving holiday in Mallorca and dive at many different dive sites, you are welcome to send us an individual enquiry - we will be happy to put together a package of dives for you.
