Learn to surf at one of the best spots in Europe: the 2-hour surf course at Playa Famara is the best introduction to surfing. You will be taught by a qualified surf instructor in a group with a maximum of 8 students. The course includes theory on the beach and practice in the water. We want to give you as much knowledge as possible in the two-hour basic course so that you are really familiar with the surfboard afterwards. Our guides will accompany you from warm-up training to keeping your balance on the board and pop-up techniques to your first ride over the waves.

Famara Beach surf course on Lanzarote

You don't need much for your first time: just swimwear and swimming skills. The rest comes with every new wave - and that's exactly what we have at Famara Beach on Lanzarote to teach you how to surf. Famara Beach is considered one of the best spots in Europe for learning to surf. The wind and waves offer ideal conditions to start water sports in a safe and beautiful environment. Our beginners' course lasts two hours and takes place in groups of a maximum of 8 people. Our qualified surf instructors will go through everything with you from scratch - you will first warm up together on the beach and go through the basics of surfing. If, after the surf course at Famara Beach, we see you paddling on a wave, standing up safely and surfing this wave, then we have achieved everything we need to get started. The important thing to know is that you don't need any previous experience. Be brave and dare to get on the board. At Farma Beach, there is a wave spot for everyone and surfing is possible almost all year round. If you realise after the beginners' course that surfing is just your thing, you can reach the next level with us and refine your technique.
