Detailed description

Full-day family tour with the ethos "pirates on the way"

Mallorca is most enjoyable when kids are on a mission. This pirates tour is ideal for families who like to be active together on holiday. You can expect a tour with multiple stops and a pirate treasure hunt. Your children will be thrilled throughout. You will be picked up at about 8.30am from your area, before driving on country lanes towards Arta. The driving time between the stops is no longer than 30 minutes. During the bus ride the children compete with the parents in a quiz, so the little ones won't get bored. Find out all kinds of fun facts and figures about Mallorca with the quiz.

Details of the route:

Stop 1: Petra

From now on, the “little ones” become “little robbers” all day long like the real pirates back in the 15th century and they will have to search for the first hidden treasure. Here in the middle of the island, parents can enjoy a wonderful view and will learn amazing things about the hidden church.

Stop 2: Rancho Grande

We visit the Rancho Grande and its mini zoo with donkeys, ponies, monkeys, an ostrich, guinea pigs, goats, etc. While the kids ride a pony, mums and dads can either be watching or go to the café on the terrace and enjoy a typical Majorcan "café con leche" or even try a "carajillo". Later, the children have fun on the bouncy castle and feed the llamas and black piglets, visit the pirate parrot and catch small guinea pigs.

Stop 3: Lunch in a typical Majorcan mansion

Head to Santa Margalida village and stop there for some lunch in an old mansion with an ivy-covered patio. Sit down at a table surrounded by ancient walls. Look forward to:

  • Appetizer: fresh white bread and alioli

  • Main course: typical Majorcan paella

  • Dessert: cake or fruits

  • Children's meal: chicken nuggets, fish fingers, chips, and ice cream

Stay there for about 90 minutes and once you're fed and watered, the trip heads towards Muro, through potato plantations and salad fields of the Majorcan Es Pla, the valley of the windmill, on to Albufera park. Take some pictures there before you make your way to the final stop.

Stop 4: Beach and swim stop

The last stop on the most beautiful day of your vacation is on the virgin sand beach of Son Serra de Marina. We go swimming in the sea, send our message in a bottle to our pirate friends in the Caribbean and we have a water fight. As a reward we are looking for the last and most valuable pirate treasure! We stay here lasts about 60 minutes, before the pirate family tour finishes by taking you back to your accommodation. You'll be back in Cala Millor around 5.30pm and at about 6pm in Cala Ratjada.
