Of course, such jewels are not to be found on every corner and are rather rare in the tourist strongholds. Therefore, our local guides will take you on a journey of discovery through those districts where the locals go out. On the gastro-bike tour through Las Palmas de Gran Canaria you will not only get to know this lively beautiful city in the north better, but also the cuisine of the island. And as sightseeing without exciting stories is only half as interesting, we also plan a short stop at one or the other place in order to enjoy the view and tell anecdotes related to our stations.

During this bike tour we will dive into the small alleyways of Las Palmas but also enjoy the proximity to the sea. Nowhere is this more possible than at the city beach of Las Canteras, that is repeatedely declared to be one of the most beautiful beaches of the world and for many people, it best captures the lifestyle of the Canarian Islands. No wonder that some of the best tapas are also served here. In two of these places we will taste local products and enjoy the company of the locals and wonderful food with sea views. From Las Canteras we will finally move on to one of the more unknown areas of Las Palmas: San Cristóbal used to be a fishing village. Even today, sea air and the circling of the birds determine the atmosphere in this small cosmos.

The houses of San Cristóbal are close to the sea. In one of the restaurants you can have a good dinner. Especially fresh fish is a good companion here. What the fishermen of San Cristóbal catch is often delivered to the best restaurants of the island.
