You will be picked up from your accommodation in Malta in the morning and transfer by ferry to Gozo to experience an unforgettable tour. At the harbour you will be met by the drivers of the jeeps and start for an island tour of the extra class. In the first 3 hours you will visit places worth seeing like the Ramla Valley, the Calypso coast or the Fungus mountain. The beautiful capital Viktoria is also a route point. A one-hour lunch (included) is planned for this Gozo excursion. Strengthened you start the afternoon program on the motorboat to the incredible caves of Comino. There are bathing stops in the Blue Lagoon and the Crystal Lagoon and depending on weather conditions also in the San Blas Bay or the Mgarr Xini Bay of Gozo. In the afternoon you will be taken back to Malta by ferry or motorboat (depending on the route) and taken to your accommodation.

Exciting Gozo Tour with Jeep Safari and boat trip to the Comino Caves

This eventful Gozo tour with a 3-hour jeep safari and 3-hour boat trip offers you an intensive holiday experience. The combination package takes you to the sights of Gozo on land and on water. Lunch and multilingual guides are included. This day tour with final visit of the Comino Caves is rich and offers a complete sightseeing program. An adventure day with ferry ride from Malta and back, including transfer and lunch. The actual tour begins in the port of Gozo, where the jeep drivers welcome you and take you on a circuit over the neighbouring island of Malta.  

The Ramla Valey in the north is a green and fertile valley from which not only the olives for the famous Gozo oil come. Ramla Beach is considered one of the most beautiful in Gozo and all of Malta. The sand here shines intensely in turquoise blue water with a golden-red shimmer. That's what makes this beach so unique. You can enjoy a particularly beautiful view of Ramla Bay from the Calypso Cave, the next route point on the Gozo Day Tour. According to tradition, this is the cave in which Ulysses was held as a prisoner of love for seven years, as Homer wrote. Below the cave there are also the remains of a fortress. The salt works of Gozo, which document the centuries-old tradition of sea salt mining and shape the landscape on the north coast, are also a photographic motif.

On the jeep safari you pass further highlights like the Inland Lake, the Fungus Mountain and of course the beautiful capital Victoria. Not to forget the majestic citadel, which is surrounded by an old city wall and was built at a point with a strategic view. From up there you can enjoy perhaps the best panoramic views of the sea, the hills and the mountains of Gozo. On the east coast, the Jeep Safari to Malta's neighbouring island finally reaches Qala Belvedere, a fantastic viewpoint over the sea.

After these numerous stops on land, we continue on the water with sightseeing in Gozo. A motorboat takes you to various bays. There is time to swim and relax. The highlight of the full day tour is a visit to the Comino Caves and the bay of the same name, which is one of Malta's top sights. The crystal clear water in different turquoise tones attracts many bathers, snorkellers and divers to this enchanted place in the Mediterranean besides the narrow Caribbean sand beach and a colourful underwater world every day. Comino is a small island, located between Malta and Gozo. There's a hotel and less than five permanent residents. Besides Comino Bay, the caves, an interesting system of canals and cavities under stone, are particularly well known.
