The hike through the Adrianos Gorge starts in the village of Adrianoso. The tour, which is a little more than 4 kilometres long, takes about 3 hours. The pace will be adapted to the group (minimum 4 participants). There will also be breaks and a picnic, so you will be on your way for about 4.5 hours. The gorge is a magical place with steep rocks and lush vegetation in the watercourse. The path is easy to walk on, but there are some obstacles you will have to overcome. A little climbing pleasure is recommended for this tour. On the way you will discover some caves and explore them if necessary.

Over many centuries, the water has dug a river bed worth seeing, which is embedded between towering rocks. The hike through the Adrianos Gorge is possible all year round and thanks to the shady rock it is also possible in midsummer. The Adrianos hike takes about 3 hours and measures just over 4 kilometres. With breaks and a picnic kick from fruits as well as small delicacies you come with this gorge hike on Crete on approximately 4.5 hours. The tour starts in the village of Adrianos and follows the course of the Skoulikaris river. This river has its source not far from Potami on the south side of Crete and flows into the sea at Agios Nikolaos.

As you hike through the Adrianos Gorge, you'll enjoy the botanical diversity that surrounds this trail. Your guide will show you some herbs to prepare a tasty salad. There are also caves in the Adrianos Gorge that you can explore with your guide and flashlight if you wish.
