Double-decker bus sightseeing on Malta in the south or north

The island of Malta is full of attractions and the best way to discover them is to hop on and hop off in the cool City Sightseeing Bus. The history of the island is over 7000 years old and offers a lot of interesting things to see: Enjoy the sea view while you are taken to the most beautiful corners of Malta in a double-decker bus. You can create your own itinerary by choosing either the south or north route, with a total of 35 stops throughout the island of Malta.

If, for example, you want to visit the Malta National Aquarium, you should get off at the fifth stop, especially if you are travelling with your family, as this is an ideal activity for young and old. In this museum you will learn all about Malta and its role during the Second World War.

South route, we'll be back! Definitely!

We got off everywhere and were therefore able to see a lot on the entire tour! The hop-ons are great for getting an initial overview of the place. Unfortunately only audio guides, they used to be personal guides.

Südroute, wir kommen wieder! Auf jeden Fall!

Wir sind überall ausgestiegen und somit auf der gesamten Tour, wirklich Vieles sehen können! Die Hop-Ons sind super, um sich einen ersten Überblick über den Ort zu verschaffen. Leider nur noch Audio-Guides, früher waren es noch persönliche Guides.

Best sightseeing in Malta

There was a stop just 100 meters from our hotel. The great thing about this tour: you can get on and off at any time. In this way you can determine what you want to visit in detail. There is no peer pressure here.

Bestes Sightseeing auf Malta

Eine Haltestelle war nur 100 Meter von unserem Hotel entfernt. Das Tolle an dieser Tour: man kann jederzeit aus- und wieder einsteigen. Auf diese Weise bestimmt man selbst, was man ausführlich besichtigen will. Gruppenzwang gibt es hier nicht.

North route: duration about 5 hours

I got on at the Bellavista Hotel stop. 1. Exit Valleta. 2nd exit Mosta Church 3rd exit Golden Bay 4th exit at the Topaz Hotel - then boarding again at the Buggiba Center. 5. Exit at the aquarium. I really enjoyed the tour.

Nordroute: Dauer circa 5 Stunden

Ich bin an der Haltestelle Bellavista Hotel eingestiegen. 1. Ausstieg Valleta. 2. Ausstieg Mosta Church 3. Ausstieg Golden Bay 4. Ausstieg am Topaz Hotel – dann wieder Zustieg am Buggiba Centre. 5. Ausstieg am Aquarium. Die Tour hat mir sehr gefallen.

I am a hop-on fan!

In many cities I have already made tours on these open top buses. Most recently in London. I think the principle is great - and thanks to sunbonoo, it is an inexpensive pleasure in Malta.

Up in the bus you have the best overview

Because it's a “convertible” bus. I was a bit groggy from the previous evening and didn't feel like trailing much. This Hoppel bus is a wonderful opportunity to take a quick city tour. Relax and let the city go by: brilliant and recommendable.

Oben im Bus hat man den besten Überblick

Denn es ist ja ein „Cabriolet“-Bus. Ich war etwas groggy vom Vorabend und hatte keine Lust viel zu latschen. Da ist dieser Hoppel-Bus eine wunderbare Möglichkeit eine flotte Stadtrundfahrt zu machen. Ausruhen und die Stadt an sich vorbeiziehen lassen: genial und empfehlenswert.

Hop on and hop off in Malta: terrific

It was my first time in Malta and I wanted to see as much as possible. That's why I took the south route today and tomorrow I want to see the north route. Thanks to sunbonoo, I have saved 10 euros (compared to paying on site)!
