After the welcome at the riding school in Algaida you will get in contact with the horses and, depending on your experience, you can take part in a small riding lesson before the horses are saddled and prepared for the approximately 1.5-hour ride through the valley of Randa and past the church "La iglesia de la Virgen de la Paz de Castellitx". After about 45 minutes you will reach the vineyards of Can Mayoral, where you will be guided through the winery and will get to know the Majorcan wine culture in its most original place.

Afterwards you will be able to enjoy local products during a wine tasting session. The horse farm is located at the foot of Puig de Randa, a landmark of Mallorca's island centre and a landmark on the route. The half-day trip takes about 4 hours in total. Included is the accompaniment of qualified riding instructors, classic or Spanish horse equipment, a helmet and a theoretical and practical introduction, as well as a guided tour of the winery and subsequent tasting.

Riding in the centre of Majorca -  Half day trip to Algaida with wine tasting

The half-day excursion takes you to a horse farm in the centre of Mallorca, to Algaida. There you will meet professional riding instructors and the Here of the beautiful Andalusians, on whose back you will later experience the approximately 1.5-hour ride. The route takes you through a very original part of the island, to the vineyards and fields and along island paths worth seeing. You can combine your riding holiday in Mallorca with an intensive experience of nature in this environment and also get to know the authentic side of Mallorca. The Andalusian horses used in this riding stable are compact, sensitive animals, well trained and made for group excursions. In order to get to know the horses better, you will have the opportunity to get in contact with the animals before the ride and also prepare them for the riding experience.

The half-day trip lasts about 4 hours in total and includes a guided ride in Mallorca, a small riding lesson for beginners and a theoretical and practical introduction. Children can join in from 7 years. You will be accompanied by experienced riding instructors who know the horses and know what to look out for. Horse lovers, who like to be out in nature with the four-legged friends, will get their money's worth during this tour. The centre of the island is less touristy and the people here are very tradition-conscious. The valley of Randa is scenically very attractive and with the Puig de Randa of the same name it is also a real island idyll. The 542-metre-high mountain is regarded as a landmark of the region and because of three monasteries, which are located at different heights on the mountain, as a sanctuary and a true place of pilgrimage. Many climb the mountain also to enjoy the wonderful view over the island from above.

One of the stops on the 1.5-hour horse walk is the church "La iglesia de la Virgen de la Paz de Castellitx", which is part of the Spanish cultural heritage and is in a privileged location. From the hill you can look into the beautiful valley of Randa. Afterwards you will reach the traditional Can Mayoral winery, where you will get to know the wine culture of Mallorca in one of its most original places during a guided tour of about 40 minutes. The tour also includes a wine tasting and tasting of typical Mallorcan products. Back at the horse farm, it is time to dismount and say goodbye to the loyal Andalusians.
