In summer, other parts of the Ebro delta are grass-green - this is where the rice typical of the Tarragonas region grows. The fields seem to reach infinitely far into the landscape. A play of colours at the sea. This landscape is ideal for active holidays. And there is hardly anything more beautiful than riding in the Ebro Delta. On the back of a gentle horse you feel the region to explore, with this 1-hour ride you will learn more about the history of the Ebro Delta, about the confluence of river and sea and above all about the agriculture around Riumar. How rice came to Tarragona and the conditions under which it is cultivated today. Rice is one of the most important agricultural products of the Ebro Delta. Low temperature fluctuations, fertile soil and proximity to the sea allow the grain to ripen in this region. But also the flora and fauna will inspire you when you ride in Ebro Delta.

The ride from Riumar is available all year round. The route is adapted to the seasons and temperatures, but always leads through the magnificent nature of the Ebro Delta. At the riding school you will meet your guide and your saddled horse before the ride starts. Depending on your experience, the speed and gait of the horse tour will be adapted. Previous experience is not required for the excursion. If you are a beginner and would like to participate in the tour, you will receive an introduction at the beginning.
