Option 1: Walk "La Gomera - with all senses"

With the ferry we drive from Tenerife to La Gomera. The walk starts at the viewpoint of "Roque Agando", from there we continue to the "witches' dance ground" La Laguna Grande and afterwards we're going to continue to stroll about 30 minutes through the forest of the green island. You walk to mystic springs "Chorros de Epina" and to the visitors center "Juego de Bolas", where you will get to know interesting facts about the botany and the traditions of La Gomera. Highlight is the visit of the crystal viewing platform "Mirador de Abrante". You can also try the traditional cuisine of Gomera (not included in the price). Subsequently, you'll visit the Aloe Park in Hermigua, before the ferry takes you back to Tenerife.

Option 2: Tenerife volcano hike "Cueva del Viento"

Walk through the fifth-longest volcanic tunnel of the world! You will be equipped with helmets and torches and get an introduction, before you start walking through the volcanic tunnel. Also in front of the volcano, we will do a small hike to see the flora and fauna of the area. At the end of the tour, we strengthen ourselves in a tasty tapas restaurant (included in the price), that is embedded in the nature.

Option 3: Tenerife Walk "Senses of the North"

Enjoy this walk through the marvellous nature on the "Way of Senses", which leads through the "magical forest" of Las Mercedes. Visit the Anaga museum, where you'll get to know interesting information about the area. Subsequently, you'll visit the farmers' market in La Laguna in order to buy all the ingredients for the Canarian Mojo sauce. Afterwards you will prepare it yourself in small groups, when you're getting to the Bodega Álvaro, a traditional wine tavern. There you can try the splendid wines and enjoy your own Mojo sauce with tapas.

Option 4: Tenerife hike "Three Volcanos"

This easy hike is perfectly suitable for the whole family. The walk leads to the Chinyero, where you hike about 1.5-2 hours across the black lava fields. Subsequently, the bus will bring you to the oldest volcano of the island, the Pico Viejo. On the way you'll see extraordinary volcanic rock formations and the Roques de Garcia. You'll be visiting the Bodega Reverón for having a barbecue and tasting the local wines. This walk ends with planting a new tree.

Option 5: Tenerife walk "Wine route"

At this very easy walk in Tenerife, you'll get to know more about the highest wine-growing area of Europe (Vilaflor at 1,400 metres of altitude). Along the vine fields, you'll hike to four different wine taverns - one of them already won a gold medal for its wine production. In each wine tavern, you'll get one glass of wine and a tasty tapa, when you're listening to the interesting information about the Canary wine and its processing. You can also buy the delicious wines of the Bodegas on site.

  • The conduct of the hikes is depending on the weather and a minimum number of people is required to make a tour happen. If your booking is influenced by this, we will get in touch with you in time to find a suitable alternative.

Get to know the culture and nature of Tenerife and La Gomera

The pleasant, all-year sunny climate of Tenerife offers perfect conditions for relaxing walks and small hikes, on which you will not only get to know the nature but also the people and traditions of the island. All tours are conducted by our professional partner in Tenerife, who offers hiking tours since 1993.

An experienced hiking guide by training will accompany you throughout the entire day and tell you interesting and fascinating facts about the surroundings. Walk through a volcanic tunnel, through the forest of La Gomera, on lava fields or over small mountains and visit museums and markets on the way. Additionally, many tours offer the possibility  to try the typical Canarian cuisine!

Conditions

Valid on the reserved day or for 12 months after date of purchase if no date has been selected. You will receive the tour operator's details with the purchased ticket. Attention: reservation is required! The reservation can be made through sunbonoo as part of the booking process or later by contacting the tour operator directly via phone or email.
