Detailed description

Mallorca Island Tour from Sa Calobra to Sóller

With this island round trip on Mallorca you experience all facets of the dream island on a full day excursion, from the coast by the island center up to the mountains of the Tramuntana and back again. You go by bus, train and boat and collect on the Mallorca island tour the most varied impressions. Mallorca is much more than sun and beach. The sea and the coast, the interior and the Tramuntana in the west form a unique and particularly charming connection on the sun island - you can admire each of these points of view and have a lot of variety during the whole day excursion.

Discover Mallorca in just one day with the famous island tour! This day trip in Majorca is made up of 4 different parts:

After a morning pick-up, a bus will take you right into the thick of the spectacular Sierra de Tramuntana and to the perhaps most beautiful bay of Mallorca, Sa Calobra. You can use the 1-hour stay at the famous Torrent de Pareis canyon for a bath break or a walk. After the trip down a winding mountain road, the bus tour finishes up in Sa Calobra bay.

The 40-minute boat trip will take you from Sa Calobra to Port de Sóller (or vice versa) and includes some of the most remarkable and spectacular views of the North West coast, which are best seen when out at sea.

You will stay for between 40 minutes and an hour in the Port de Sóller where you are more than welcome to go and grab a bite at one of the beachside restaurants. After the boat trip, the next highlight of this Mallorca Island Tour is the trip through the beautiful Sóller valley. You will take the historic tram for a short 25-minute trip from Port de Sóller to Sóller through a whole heap of trees and luscious greenery. Take a stroll around town in Sóller and then hop on board the wooden Sóller train (which was built in 1912). The Sóller train weaves its way through the spectacular mountain range. Once you get back to Palma, you'll board the bus back to your hotel.

The Majorca Island Tour includes a tour guide, a bus ride through the mountains, pick up and drop off from and to your hotel, a fantastic boat trip from Sa Calobra to Port de Sóller, a short Sóller tram ride, and finally a ride on the famous Sóller train to Palma.

*The itinerary may also take place in reverse order (from Palma to Sóller, then to Sa Calobra; starting with the train, then the tram then boat and then bus).

Conditions

Valid on the reserved day or for 12 months after date of purchase if no date has been selected. You will receive the tour operator's details with the purchased ticket. Attention: reservation is required! The reservation can be made through sunbonoo as part of the booking process or later by contacting the tour operator directly via phone or email.

We were on Mallorca for the first time and were able to get to know the island and its highlights well. There are also sales stations, but you don't have to buy anything. It was a great day, including punctual pick-up. Highly recommended!

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Mass tourism ahoy

The bus driver made us feel safe and we were very happy, especially on the steep slopes. The guide was friendly, spoke good German, Franz, English and of course Spanish. He was able to express this when he spoke continuously (!) From Palma to Inca. It was exhausting to listen. For couples without children, look for another trip - the additional costs of a few euros are definitely worth it.

Massentourismus ahoi

A perfect day all round

I can recommend this excursion to everyone who wants to explore the west of Mallorca in one day using a wide variety of means of transport. The bus (which was very punctual) will pick you up near the hotel. Even if there are a few stops to pick up, these are more informative than annoying. When you arrive in Palma, you go through a great landscape with 2 stops until you reach the serpentine road to Sa Calobra. This meanders through twelve hairpin bends for 14 km until you reach the small harbor. From here it is a short walk to the Torrent de Pareis beach. Back in the port, take a boat to Port de Sóller. From here you can take the tram to Sóller. And then the train brings everyone just before Palma, before the bus waiting there again distributes all participants to the respective hotels. A great day thanks to our excellent bus driver Michelangelo and great tour guide Pepe.

Excellenct

Trip in August 2021. So hot. After pickup at the hotel we went firstonce in the leather factory in Inca. You can buy there bags, shoes, purse in resonable price. Then it was the winding roads up into the mountains - great views. In Sa Calobra we had to visit About 45min time to the gorge "Torrent de Pareis". So if you want take qick bath in the sea you need go to torrent straigh Way. No time for food. Rock beach. Then we went by boat to Port of Sóller, also here we had free time to look around the beautiful town and harbor.again time only for ice ceam. The service in restaurants very słów. From here we took the old tram on. Boarding here was chaotic and not everyone had a seat. In Sóller we will switch to the old railway - leisure there was not here unfortunately. By train, we went to Palma - here fortunately all had a seat! The reservation with sunbonoo was smooth, one day after booking we received the tickets and pick-up times.

Outstanding

Have today with my wife made the tour and I can only recommend it. Was just wonderful and our RL Maria Antonia excellent and we learned a lot of worth knowing, also info´s by the way about rich Finca / villa owners and American actors etc and funny it was. And "Profibus driver" Jose Antonio drove us quite casually through the serpentines

Hervorragend

keeps what she promises

a bit of everything. The day is long, but the program is interesting. Highlight was the red flash for us. But we also liked the boat trip. But it is definitely very touristy, you have to know that.

hält, was sie verspricht

We had already informed us, what is offered on the tour everything. Our expectations were met. We wanted to go with the Red Lightning and the tram. It is definitely worth it. The stalls are superfluous, but you do not have to buy anything.

recommendable

we have made the trip with our family, our children are 5 and 8 years. We all had fun on the tour. The train ride to Soller takes about 1 hour and you can see a lot of the landscape. The ride on the tram was the best for our boys. Gladly again.

Empfehlenswert

Gerne wieder.

Beautiful day

If you have never been to Mallorca, the tour is very good to get to know the island. Our tour guide even spoke German, not perfect, but understandable. Keep what she promises.

Hält, was sie verspricht.

Ok, had fun

We were told that you should definitely do this tour. So we booked. It was also worth it. Very varied and informative. We were also very satisfied with our tour guide. He did not speak perfect German, but we did not expect that. Point deduction is available for the failed air conditioning system in the bus.

once yes, twice no

For the first visit to Mallorca absolutely okay. You really get to know the island quite well. Can I recommend it in any case. But I would not do it a second time.

Too much bus-little leisure-unplanned business visit

The return to the island is nice, but it was too long in the bus, on winding roads and an impossible guide to shut up! (a lot of dizziness ... and in 5 languages !!). In Sa Calobra, as we arrived at the time of the meal, although it was very early, and late to leave it, it was short. In Soller only visit the port, which is what they offer, but when they move us to the town in the tram we are dumbfounded wondering how beautiful it is and can not go down to visit it, because they directly leave us at the train station to mount immediately. However, they make us lose almost an hour in a commercial stop, which is NOT announced in the itinerary: a visit to a factory of leather goods in Inca (no possibility of fleeing to visit anything). This was a job, because we had no intention of buying anything, and yet it was a precious time that we lost and could dedicate it to other things. Above all we feel bad for the deception of not having warned us. The summary is that the excursion is too long in means of transport and very short in time to enjoy the wonderful places we visited.

Demasiado bus-poco ocio-visita comercial no planeada

Fantastic excursion!

I cannot express how great this tour was - it surpassed all our expectations and was the highlight of our holiday. Cound not believe how much we got to see in one day - such good value. Jaume was an incredible tour guide, switching seamlessly between 4 different languages - very impressive and knowledgeable. And the coach drivers skills on the windy mountain roads in Tramontana were incredible. Would definitely reccommend this excursion - If you only have time to do one trip in Mallorca, it should be this one!!

Tour opening

Distinct from the general tourism, we chose to come to Mallorca in February. The problem? Almost no activity because the season starts only in April or May. Following that was a challenge to find an excursion, to introduce us to the island as possible. Thanks to sunbonoo find this around the island, which took us know the most beautiful corners of Mallorca. Unbeknownst we have seen many almond bloom. That they seem to flourish in these times. Thank you, without you it would not have been possible

Good overall package

After pickup at the hotel we went firstonce in the leather sale in Inca (but was not pushy sales pitch). Then it was the winding roads up into the mountains - great views. In Sa Calobra we had to visit plenty of free time to the gorge "Torrent de Pareis". Then we went by boat to Port of Sóller, also here we had free time to look around the beautiful town and harbor.

Gutes Gesamtpaket

A highly recommended experience with many great impressions

Fantastic island tour which my wife and I enjoyed excellent. We were picked up on time at the agreed time from our hotel in Cala Ratjada to begin the tour. On the way, we have enjoyed a lot of great views. It was very varied and Kultural. Only the bus ride through the mountains, Serpentinistraßen down, with a dizzy was. Then a visit to the popular bay of Sa Calobra, a really great experience. The Marine was the highlight for my wife´s train historic train for me. So it is for every taste, even if we already belong to higher age, even for younger people I would recommend this tour here.

It was a really, really nice island tour. A superb opportunity to meet the great island and to visit the places of the North. Even for older age Herschaften recommended warmly. We as a group of 6 people amused and there is nothing to complain about.

Island tour by bus, boat, tram and the sweet "Red Lightning"

Thanks for the nice ride. It was a great day! After the meeting point + time. We were picked up right near our hotel in a comfortable bus. By the Tramuntana mountains to Sa Calobra, from there by ship to Port de Soller. A break with sufficient time for pictures and sightseeing. From there we went on the historic tram towards the valley Soller. Where we took the electric train in 1913 through the mountains back to Palma back (a time travel back 100 years are added). We book again :)
