If you really want to get to know Tenerife, then just drive across the island. During the VIP tour to Mount Teide and Masca you will discover bizarre volcanic landscapes, the original interior of the island and the most important sights around the Teide National Park. The all-day off-road vehicle tour starts in Puerto de la Cruz in the beautiful north of the island. Ever since Mount Teide and Pico Viejo started erupting, a characteristic, unique landscape has developed in this part of the island. From there you travel along the northwest coast to Garachico, one of the most beautiful towns on the island.

The Castillo de San Miguel, which is situated by the sea and is built of black lava stone, is one of the coastal town’s distinctive landmarks with its port, which used to be very important for traders. Afterwards, you can visit the charming mountain village of Masca, which for a long time was only accessible on foot and by donkey. Here you can still feel the history and rhythm of Tenerife and you will be a good position to look out across the impressive surrounding countryside. There’s a bit more going on in Santiago del Teide, which is known for its imposing church, for whale-watching off the coast and most of all for the Los Gigantes cliffs.

The rock face rises above the sea to heights of up to 600 metres and forms a gigantic shield. At this point it is time to have a longer rest and regain your strength. Santiago del Teide is where we stop for lunch. This meal is included in the price. You will see the most beautiful contrast the island offers on the following stage to the mountain village of Chío - the mountains of the Teide National Park on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. With this feeling you climb up to Pico Viejo, which is the second highest peak of Tenerife at an altitude of 3,129 metres. This is good preparation for the trip through the Teide National Park, the most important sight on Tenerife. Whichever way you look during your journey, everything in this landscape is impressive and unique.

The Roques de García, which are a rock formation below Mount Teide, have proved to be a popular photo stop and feature in almost every tour of the local landscape. The most famous of the towers rising from the volcanic landscape is the Roque Cinchado, which is also known as the Finger of God. From there it goes to the final highlight of the Mount Teide tour, the lush valley of La Orotava and the village of the same name in the north of the island with its historic centre. You return to Puerto de la Cruz in the early evening with many memories of the island’s treasures.
