Detailed description

Great jeep tour in Fuerteventura in the nature reserve Parque Natural de Jandia

The exciting tour takes place in a Land Rover Defender 110 SW jeep with a maximum of 7 seats. An experienced driver and professional guide will accompany you. The jeep safari starts on a unpaved road leading into the beautiful nature park in the direction of Cofete. As the beautiful mountain scenery spreads out in front of you, you reach the Mirador (viewpoint) and see the beautiful beach stretching for miles on the west coast of Fuerteventura. Afterwards, the jeep tour in Fuerteventura leads you to unique cactus species, which only exist in Fuerteventura. Here you make a stop to admire the impressive plants and to take some photos. Once in Cofete, you will see the famous Villa Winter, built in 1940 by the German engineer Gustav Winter. Find out more on site from your local guide.

Always have your camera ready during the jeep tour in Fuerteventura, it's worth it! Heading to Punta de Jandia, the jeep driver will take you to a small bay where you will stop. Enjoy swimming in the sea (should it not be bathing weather, there will be a detour to punta Pesebre, the most south-westerly point of the island). We finally reach the lighthouse of Jandia, the southernmost lighthouse of the island. On the way back, we stop at the viewpoint Sotavento and take in the wonderful panorama once again. Especially at low tide, this beach paradise will seem endless to us. The jeep safari in Fuerteventura is coming to an end and you will be taken back to your starting point.

The driver is the guide ...

... And thus we had the whole jeep tour enough time to look around. That was really great because instead (as we know from other Jeep Safaris) all the time to be engaged in the street, one can observe the very fascinating landscape. The information from the guide were interesting, we did the jeep safari very much. Thanks for the wonderful day!

... und dadurch hatten wir die ganze Jeep Tour genug Zeit, uns umzusehen. Das war wirklich toll, denn anstatt (wie wir es von andern Jeep Safaris kennen) die ganze Zeit mit der Straße beschäftigt zu sein, kann man die sehr faszinierende Landschaft beobachten. Die Infos vom Guide waren interessant, uns hat die Jeep Safari sehr gut gefallen. Danke für den schönen Urlaubstag!

Very good tour

We booked at short notice and had a great experienced driver. I wouldn't have wanted to drive through the terrain myself, but it was nice to be driven. It was very hot, very dusty and a great experience. We discovered many beautiful places and always received interesting and important information (as holidaymakers).
We are very happy to recommend the tour. The staff was very friendly. Thank you 🙏

Sehr gute Tour

Wir haben kurzfristig gebucht und hatten eine ganz tolle erfahrene Fahrerin. Die Tour hätte ich selbst nicht durch das Gelände fahren wollen, so war es aber schön, gefahren zu werden. Es war sehr heiß, sehr staubig und ein tolles Erlebnis. Viele schöne Orte haben wir entdeckt und immer auch interessante und auch wichtige Informationen (als Urlauber) dazu erhalten.
Wir empfehlen die Tour sehr gerne weiter. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Danke 🙏

Impressive tour!

The tour to Cofete took us over gravel roads, no problem with the jeep but really fun. The landscape in the south of the island is simply impressive. The short stop for a swim at Playa de Juan Gomez, a small bay with turquoise water, was especially nice. The guides kept taking photos of the group, so you can take home lots of nice memories. Absolutely recommend this tour!

Beeindruckende Tour!

Die Tour nach Cofete hat uns über Schotterpisten geführt, mit dem Jeep kein Problem sondern wirklich spaßig. Die Landschaft im Süden der Insel ist einfach beeindruckend. Besonders schön war der kurze Badestopp beim Playa de Juan Gomez, eine kleine Bucht mit türkisblauem Wasser. Die Guides haben immer wieder Fotos von der Gruppe gemacht, sodass man viele schöne Erinnerungen mit nach Hause nehmen kann. Absolute Empfehlung für diese Tour!
