20 interesting places and 10 stops as well as a lunch with drinks are included in the 7-hour Jeep Safari on Gozo, which also starts in the harbour of Mgarr Harbour. From the southeast, this tour begins on the east coast to see places of interest such as Valley Dahlet Qorrot, Calypso Cave and Ramla Beach. Then you drive on beautiful route into the island center, where windmills and the temples of Ġgantija are visited (entrance not included). On the west coast you can see Fungus Rock. The last stop is the old citadel in the centre of the island before returning to the starting point after about 7 hours.

One of the main attractions of Gozo was the Azure Window in the west of the island. Unfortunately, the popular rock gate collapsed in 2017. Nevertheless, Gozo still has so much to offer that a visit or holiday on the little sister island of Malta is worthwhile and attractive. Gozo has culture and history, an impressive landscape and remarkable sights to offer. Get to know some of them on an island safari in an off-road vehicle. With the Gozo Jeep Tour you have sightseeing and adventure in one. You practically circumnavigate the island once, drive along great coastal paths, through gentle valleys and on rough island paths to destinations worth seeing like Fungus Rock or Ramla Bay, the unique Ggantija Temples and the amazing inland lake.
The Gozo Jeep Tour starts in Mgarr Harbour. There also the ferry, with which guests cross from Malta to experience the Gozo excursion in a jeep. The island tour in an all-terrain vehicle is offered in 2 variants. The shorter tour is only available in the high season, lasts about 4 hours and introduces you to important sights on the east coast, in the north and in the west. There are several stops along the way, so you can visit the island's highlights and take photos. For the shorter Jeep Safari it should be noted that for guests from Malta only the outward journey (with transfer and ferry ticket) is organised. The return journey from Gozo by ferry and the return journey to the hotel would have to be planned independently on this tour.
If you want to see more of the interior of the island and especially the citadel of Victoria, take the whole day for a Gozo Jeep tour. The 7-hour safari also starts in Mgarr and the route book lists 20 places, which you will drive to with the off-road vehicle. For such an individual safari I had to shell out a lot more in other countries (and with less good vehicles). But the price is secondary when you consider what nature and culture you get here. Aber der Preis ist sekundär, wenn man bedenkt, was man hier an Natur und Kultur geboten bekommt.
