Option 2: Hire a kayak from Faro in the Algarve

Rent out your own kayak and row through the blue waters on the Algarve. Kayak from Faro on one of four different kinds of kayak. You can rent a kayak for 2.5 hours, 4 hours or even 8 hours. Take part in an activity that gets your heart racing and builds on a new skill whilst you bond with your family and friends. Row along the canals in the Ria Formosa Nature park and make your way to the islands and beaches. If it's your first time, the Rotomod Sit-on-top kayak could be a good pick as they're the easiest to steer. Set out on an adventure that shows you a less built-up Portugal!

Kayak tour in the Algarve - simply fantastic

The Ria Formosa Nature Park is the most beautiful spot for paddling on the Algarve coast. The rented boats were in excellent condition. The prices called up moderate and fair. 5 unconditional stars from me.

Super environment

We rented a double kayak for a day and it was worth it. The nature park is fantastically beautiful and very quickly you are far away from all other tourists.
