The kitesurfing courses for beginners take place on the beach of Theologos - a hotspot for water sports on Rhods. In the kite school participants receive the necessary equipment and are assigned to a professional instructor, who works with a maximum of 3 students each. If there is enough wind, the training starts with theory and dry runs and later you switch to practice. First, basic basics are taught. This includes basic knowledge about wind, turf and weather conditions as well as the setup and dismantling of the kite and safety when surfing.

In order to achieve the greatest possible learning success, the theory is integrated into the practical part. That means: it goes into the water as fast as possible. This includes kite control, right of way rules and methods for self-rescue. Depending on which course you choose, the training continues on the board. You will learn how to align body and board optimally, how to load the board correctly while gliding, how to start from the water. Then start your first ride with the kite.

The wind yield at the beach of Theologos could hardly be better. In summer, the north wind Meltemi blows reliably across the island and offers the best conditions to learn kitesurfing on Rhodes or to improve your technique. Especially in the mornings there are usually values between 2 and 4 on the Beaufort scale - these are best starting values for beginners and intermediates who want to practice kiting in Theologos. This exciting water sport is the ideal recreational programme for summer holidays in Greece. Sun and water can be combined beautifully in this way - and it is still an active holiday.

On the beach of Theologos is a small kite paradise with a lot of space in the water and a lot of space on land to relax and take a break. The kite school offers different courses for beginners and sportsmen with previous knowledge. From private lessons to intensive courses of 3 to 9 hours spread over several days. The kite rental is included and the aim is to learn as much as possible during the surf course on Rhodes and to gain confidence that you can continue on your own after the training.

At the kite school you will first receive the necessary equipment to start your kite course on Rhodes. A teacher takes care of a maximum of 3 students each, so that learning success can be achieved after a very short time.
