The trip departs from Playa de Santiago or Valle Gran Rey, depending on the day of the week, and lasts 3 hours each way, including a stop for a swim, small refreshments and snacks on board. Our skipper sails under the Blue Flag, which symbolises our responsibility to care for and respect marine life. Sightings in the wild can never be guaranteed, but the chances of seeing porpoises, spotted dolphins and pilot whales off the coast of La Gomera are excellent. Spurdled whales, Bryde's whales and beaked whales have also been spotted on whale watching trips.

Watching whales and dolphins off the coast of La Gomera is one of the unforgettable moments of your holiday. These impressive sea creatures are native to the waters around the Canary Islands and it is possible to see bottlenose dolphins, spotted dolphins and other species in the wild almost all year round. Our whale watching tour starts off the southwest coast of the island, with departures on different days of the week from Valle Gran Rey or further south from Playa Santiago. On this 3 hour excursion you will go whale watching aboard a vintage whale watching boat. Our 24 metre long, lovingly restored boat is comfortable with plenty of space on different levels to get the best position when we see dolphins or whales. The boat sails under the Blue Flag, which means our tours are respectful. Our skipper knows the routes and will take us close to the animals in a gentle way.

Wonderful experience

The whale watching tour in La Gomera was an impressive experience. The comfortable yacht and professional crew made for an enjoyable trip. 🌊🐋 Although a sighting cannot be guaranteed, we were lucky enough to see dolphins and whales. A highlight of our trip that I can recommend to everyone.

Breathtaking Whale Watching Adventure

The boat trip was stunning! Saw loads of dolphins and whales. Snack and drink included were a nice touch. Definitely a must-do if you're in La Gomera!

My whale watching trip with my friend was really impressive. The traditional boat trip was enjoyable and the view of whales and dolphins was a unique experience. The included snacks and drinks were also a nice bonus.
