During the PADI Open Water course you will learn everything you need to practice this sport comfortably and with fun, but above all safely. During 3 intensive days and 5 dives (to 18 metres) you can learn everything you need to enjoy 70% of the planet. There will be three intensive days of theory, handling the equipment and dives, which we usually split into the mornings. Before the course starts we will email you the official PADI digital theory so you can familiarise yourself with the key concepts and. The PADI course material can be accessed via the PADI eLearning platform on any smartphone, computer or tablet. Upon completion of the course, the official PADI certificate is issued and is valid worldwide to a maximum depth of 18 metres.

Enjoy a dive course at La Manga or adventurous dives at Mar Menor

Due to its reputation as one of the best dive sites in Europe and thanks to its mild water temperatures of an average 20-28°C, a dive course at Mar Menor is just perfect. The since 1995 protected nature reserve Cabo de Palos is the habitat of a large variety of species, which is used by many sea creatures as breeding ground. The coastal line of Costa Calida therefore is the ideal place for dive beginners. At the dive course in La Manga, experienced dive instructors are always at your side and patiently support you in learning scuba diving. Since all dive courses are PADI-certified, all dive courses are conducted due to international standards and with internationally standardised teaching material.

At the same times, experienced divers get their money's worth at the dive centre in La Manga. On guided boat dives or shore dives, experienced and less-experienced certified divers can get to know Costa Calida. Especially spectacular are the sardine shoals that occur every year between August and October and attract predatory fish, such as the up to 22 kg heavy dolphinfish, tuna, common dentex and jackfish. The dives at Mar Menor are a unique experience! Besides the moray eels, rays, octopi, barracudas and moonfish, that settle here during all the year, you can also expect many more sea creatures that hide in the lush posidonia- and neptune seaweed meadows.
