Detailed description

Lanzarote kayak tour to Papagayo Beach - with time for snorkeling and picnic

A great way to get to know the Papagayo beaches and the south coast of Lanzarote is a kayak tour from Playa Blanca. Directly from the beach Las Colorades you will go by boat along the impressive coast, passing Playa Dorada, the marina Rubicon and some of the most beautiful beaches of the south coast. It is about 7 kilometres to the finish. The kayak tour to Papagayo Beach in Lanzarote is a wonderful experience for nature lovers, active vacationers and also for families with children. The tour takes about 3 hours and includes all the equipment, an experienced guide, snorkeling equipment and a picnic.

Maybe you have never been in a kayak before and have never paddled a sea mile on the sea - then this is your chance to start with a good experience in water sports. The kayaks are easy to handle and lie safely on the water. What you should know about effortless paddling technique you will learn at the start of the tour. The instruction takes place directly on the beach, where the kayaks are dropped into the water. Your guide will introduce you to the route and also give you important tips on kayaking. You can stow your personal belongings in a waterproof backpack and off you go: from Playa Blanca within sight of the coast eastwards to the Los Ajaches sanctuary - the oldest geological formation on the island. This special region in the south of Lanzarote also includes the famous, kilometre-long Papagayo beaches, which advertise themselves with white or golden sand and crystal-clear water. The crossing takes about 1 hour.

Once arrived in this little paradise, the snorkeling break could become your most beautiful holiday experience. The transparent water shimmers in different shades of blue depending on the incidence of light, often many fish swim in the shallower areas and even one or the other elevation shimmers on the seabed. Our guide is happy to teach participants who are snorkeling for the first time and is also available for any other questions. If the water level and the weather on the day of your choice allow it, we will paddle into a small cave on the way back from Papagayo and enjoy for a moment the silence in the house formed by nature. At the Papagayo Cape the most amazing cliffs we can find in Lanzarote await us. They belong to the most amazing perspectives of our Lanzarote kayak and snorkel tour.
