The Canary Islands are located just off the coast of Africa. They are a volcanic archipelago of islands that are mostly dry and warm all year-round. Lanzarote is the most northerly of the larger Canary Islands. With the exception of a few small sandy and stony beaches, the coastline is surrounded by rocky cliffs leading up to the 600-metre-high barren stone mountains. The beauty of the landscape is not found in a rich variety of species of flora and fauna, although there are some species that have specifically adapted to the dry conditions here and are only found locally. The diving training is held in a swimming pool. You will then be taken to the aquarium. Alternatively, you can also choose the 2-hour diving tour, where you have to show your diving permit. This does not include training before you dive. You can just enjoy the fun of a slightly different diving experience in an aquarium with sharks on Lanzarote. As a third option, you can book the more elaborate 3-hour package whether or not you have a diving permit. The ultimate complete diving experience awaits you here, as you will be trained in the sea. A transfer will again take you to the Lanzarote Aquarium, where you will go diving with the sharks.
