Detailed description

Enjoy a private day trip to Sintra & Cascais in a convertible from Lisbon

There are good reasons why Lisbon is one of the coolest cities in Europe. Geographically and climatically favoured, the metropolis near the Atlantic Ocean has made a name for itself among the most popular travel destinations. This is due to the city's rich history and present, but also to its surroundings, which could hardly be richer in contrast. With Sintra, a magical place to visit is within easy reach, and many people are speechless at the sight of it. Decorated with palaces and villas, playful facades, turrets and opulent gardens, visitors feel as if they have been transported to fairyland. We would like to visit this magical place with you. Our private day trip to Sintra & Cascais from Lisbon is not just any tour. We drive with you in a classic VW convertible through the charming landscape, first into the mountains and from there to the sea. We roll leisurely along the roads and paths and pass the sights of Sintra in style.

During your Lisbon day tour to Sintra, up to 3 people can sit in a convertible, next to your personal tour guide and driver, who knows the best stories and will tell you live about things worth knowing and unknown. If you wish to book the Lisbon Sintra day trip with a larger group, you can book up to 3 convertibles (maximum 9 people). Cascais is the second main attraction of our private tour. The once small fishing village has become a chic seaside resort with noble architecture and modern infrastructure. The summer resort of the well-to-do Lisboners is today a place of well-being, which still has something quaint in between all the chic. And Cascais is only 25 kilometres away from Lisbon.

After our stopover at the sea, we drive back to the city centre of Lisbon via the Avenida Marginal, where we soak up the charm of the trendiest districts. Chiado and Príncipe Real score points with their buildings, antique shops, beautiful gardens, cosy squares, colourful villas, museums and many people on the streets. In Alfama, the oldest quarter, we let ourselves drift through the winding streets before we reach the starting point of the day's tour. After a good 7 hours city and country tour we hope to have given you a nice day with this eventful Sintra excursion.

My first Beetle was called Emma

...a long, long time ago. When I saw the offer from sunbonoo, buried memories were awakened and I spontaneously booked.

The driver was friendly, the car very well maintained and soon had the name "Emma Zwo". Thank you for a lovely day!

Memories of youth were awakened

When I was young, Aunt Inge lent me her “Käfer”. To be driven through the Mediterranean landscape in one of these 34 years later is a bit bizarre. Unfortunately, I had to find out that the Beetle and I have now grown old.

Sinta & Cascais in a VW convertible - simply terrific

In an open vehicle through the city and country around Lisbon, there were some friendly looks from interested Portuguese women. I liked it …!

Sinta & Cascais im VW-Cabrio – einfach grandios

Im offenen Gefährt durch Stadt und Land rund um Lissabon, da gab es manche freundlichen Blicke von interessierten Portugiesinnen. Mir hat es gut gefallen …!

Discover Lisbon by classic car

A great idea. City and country tour in a classic car! There were two of us (plus a nice chauffeur) and we really enjoyed the seven hours.

Eine super Idee. Stadt- und Landrundfahrt im Oldtimer! Wir waren zu zweit (plus nettem Chauffeur) und haben die über sieben Stunden sehr genossen.
