Option 1: Lisbon Tour in the Tuk Tuk through historical area
This is the best route to see all the emblematic points of the centre of Lisbon, from the old town, where Phoenicians, Romans and Moors lived, to the noble quarter of Chiado and the Bohemian Bairro Alto. We start at the Praça do Comércio and from there we simply climb up to Lisbon Cathedral, the Santa Luzia and Portas do Sol viewpoints, past the Olissipo Roman Theatre and the Church of St. Anthony, the protector of lovers. Through narrow serpentine roads, the route leads up to the working-class district of Graça.
From the highest point, with the city at our feet, we greet the Mistress of the Hill and the São Jorge Castle, before visiting the São Vicente de Fora Monastery and the National Pantheon. In Alfama we might even sing the Fado of folk music, amidst the narrow streets and squares. Then we will drive to Baixa and back to Chiado and Bairro Alto, the neighbourhoods of chic ladies and gentlemen, writers and artists. Then there is time to visit the Carmo Monastery, the São Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint and the Príncipe Real garden.
- Route: Praça do Comércio – Sé de Lisboa – Miradouros Santa Luzia e Portas do Sol – Graça – São Vicente de Fora – Panteão Nacional – Alfama – Museu do Fado – Casa dos Bicos – Baixa – Rossio – Chiado – Largo do Carmo – São Pedro de Alcântara – Jardim do Príncipe Real
- Duration: ~ 2 hours
- Hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Option 2: Lisbon tour in tuk tuk historical and Belém area
If you choose the 4-hour option, then we have time to drive to Belém, a riverside district at the narrowest point of the Tagus, from where Vasco da Gama found the sea route to India. Awaken the discoverer in you and learn how the great Portuguese sailors transformed Portugal into the first global empire. Visit the Monastery of Jerónimos, the Tower of Belém and the Monument of Discoveries and "sail" on unknown waters, between cinnamon and puff pastry, in the original factory of Pastéis de Belém.
- Route: Baixa – Avenida da Liberdade – Parque Eduardo VII – Graça – Alfama – Praça do Comércio – Chiado – Carmo – Bairro Alto – Príncipe Real – Estrela – Lapa – Belém – Cais do Sodré
- Duration: ~ 4 hours
- Hours: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Lisbon Tour Tuk Tuk Tuk: Sightseeing through the Old Town of the Portuguese capital
On the southwestern Atlantic coast of the Iberian peninsula lies the historic capital of Portugal, Lisbon. Since Roman times, the important port and trading town has grown and prospered and was already under various cultural influences. This increased until well after the Middle Ages, with blossoming seafaring and overseas wealth. Around 1500, Lisbon was one of the most glamorous trading and port cities of the time and was known far away. However, wealth was harmful to the economy and in 1755 an earthquake sealed the decline of Lisbon. Since then, however, the metropolis has largely recovered. What remains are sights from almost 2000 years of eventful history.
On the Lisbon Tour Tuk Tuk Tuk through the historic Old Town you will get to know these sights at close quarters. In both of these tours, the local guide will bring you closer to the local attractions with additional information worth knowing. Admire the cathedral of Lisbon, stop at different viewpoints such as Portas do Sol, Senhora do Monte, São Pedro de Alcântara and other places where you can enjoy the panorama of the city in full splendour. Your gaze sweeps over centuries of culture and architecture and many of the small details will gradually reveal and inspire you.
All this is included in the 2-hour and 4-hour Lisbon Tour Tuk Tuk Tuk Tour. The 4-hour tour will then also take you to the Belém district. This municipality, which remained independent until 1885, was only then incorporated into the city of Lisbon in Portugal. This district of Belém, largely spared from the severe earthquake of 1755, contains many of Barcelona's surviving landmarks, including the two World Heritage Sites Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and the Torre de Belém. But also the Avis house, including the burial place of Vasco da Gama. Explore this wonderful city of Lisbon with a Tuk Tuk Tour in a completely different way. With a maximum of 6 persons and kept very open, you can enjoy a city tour different from a full coach tour. Get to know your Tuk Tuk Tuk experience in Lisbon: a wonderful adventure for the whole family!
Valid on the reserved day or for 12 months after date of purchase if no date has been selected. You will receive the tour operator's details with the purchased ticket. Attention: reservation is required! The reservation can be made through sunbonoo as part of the booking process or later by contacting the tour operator directly via phone or email.
Customer Reviews Lisbon Tour in the Tuk Tuk Tuk through the Old Town
Tuk Tuk: Loud, but ...The things are loud (probably also because there is no bodywork) but the contact with the city, the people, the smells, the noises is much more immediate than, for example, in a hop-bus like this ...! I like to give the best rating.
Peter, Manfred and I in Lisboa - With the tuk-tukWe didn't really expect that. We had only expected such a vehicle in Southeast Asia. But we enjoyed being driven through Lisbon like this. You have to try it out.
Booked option 1Was also quite satisfied. Unfortunately the driver only spoke 10 words of German. But there was a lot to see, so the conversation wasn't that important ...
Habe Option 1 gebuchtWar auch ganz zufrieden. Leider sprach der Fahrer nur 10 Worte Deutsch. Aber es gab ja viel zu sehen, so war die Unterhaltung nicht ganz so wichtig…
Route 2 with Quartier Belém - a great discovery tourThere was a slight hint of great history to be felt as we stood on the banks of the Tagus and had to think of Mr. da Gama, who began his adventures here.
Route 2 mit Quartier Belém – Eine tolle EntdeckertourEin leichter Hauch von großer Geschichte war zu spüren, als wir am Ufer des Tejo standen und an Herrn da Gama denken musste, der hier seine Abenteuer begann.
