Madeira: Catamaran tour with the sailing boat through the archipelago
Far off the coast of Portugal lies a beautiful island in the Atlantic Ocean. The volcanic island of Madeira, which belongs to Portugal, is located in a small archipelago in the middle of the sea. From the shallow sandy beaches in the south to the stony beaches and rocky cliffs in the north, the green mountain ranges with the peaceful towns on the slopes of the mountains extend in wide valleys between the high peaks. The constant mild climate throughout the year makes it possible to admire sensational landscape panoramas. The coastline is characterized by bays and bizarrely beautiful rock formations.
To explore the island in full splendour and wholeness, this Madeira Catamaran Tour offers two wonderful possibilities. A booking option is the catamaran tour "Rota da Fajãs", a 9-hour cruise from Funchal by sailboat will take you along the coastline of the fascinating volcanic island. During your trip to Ponta do Pargo you will see deep valleys between the high peaks along the coastline and impressive cliffs, but also the colourful flora of Madeira's coastline. Between the mountains you will see wonderful, peaceful plateaus and untouched mountain slopes where you can see the different shapes and colours of the volcanic stones. The accompanying guide will have informative explanations, but will also be happy to answer your questions competently. This relaxing Madeira Catamaran tour includes a stay at Ponta do Pargo, where you can go snorkeling or paddling in the kayak. On the way back there is also a break for swimming.
The second booking option is the catamaran tour "Ilhas Desertas", in English the "deserted islands". This is a group of islands about 30 km off the south-east coast of Madeira. This also 9 hour Madeira Catamaran tour starts from Funchal and is as elaborate as booking option 1, where you will experience the ocean, enjoy the sun and will most likely see seabirds and whales or dolphins. A 3-hour stay at the Ilhas Desertas is planned, where you will have a short tour of the island or can swim in the clear water.
Whichever Madeira Catamaran Tour you choose: Meals are provided in the form of lunch on board the ship. The experienced crew is looking forward to show you the most beautiful places of the volcanic archipelago and to make your Madeira holiday even more beautiful.
Valid on the reserved day or for 12 months after date of purchase if no date has been selected. You will receive the tour operator's details with the purchased ticket. Attention: reservation is required! The reservation can be made through sunbonoo as part of the booking process or later by contacting the tour operator directly via phone or email.
Customer Reviews Experience Madeira at sea all day long
Good!A great day at sea. We saw a lot and a lot of fun. The food was ok.
Gut!Ein toller Tag auf dem Meer. Wir haben viel gesehen und viel Spaß. Das Essen war ok.
A great day at sea, but a little longWe did the tour to the islands. We were lucky on the way there and saw dolphins, but overall it was a pretty long drive and the children were bored on the way back. A few hours shorter would have been fine. The islands were very impressive for that and we are glad that we did the tour.
Better along the coastWe did the tour to the islands. There is not much to see there. Overall, however, a nice day at sea with many great impressions.
Besser entlang der KüsteWir haben die Tour zu den Inseln gemacht. Dort gibt es aber nicht sonderlich viel zu sehen. Insgesamt aber ein schöner Tag auf dem Meer mit vielen tollen Eindrücken.
