This jeep tour in Madeira leads you through the southeast of the island and to the typical weekly market in Santo Serra that takes place every Sunday. This market is very popular among the locals of the surrounding villages. It is famous for its regional products, the high quality and the good prices. Enjoy the special atmosphere and get enchanted by the authentic Madeira. Therefore, this jeep safari in Madeira is suitable for all age groups. During the entire 4x4 tour, an experienced guide will drive the jeep, so you'll not only hear interesting facts about the sights, but you'll also have enough time to admire the nature without having to concentrate on the street.

The jeep tour starts directly at your hotel and leads over Funchal to Garajau, which is famous for its Cristo Rei statue. From there you'll have panoramic views over the bay of Funchal. The jeep safari leads you over narrow paths through the forests of the southeast, through a zone, which is called Águas Mansas due to its richness of water, until you reach the viewpoint Portela, which offers a breathtaking view over the entire southeast coast of Madeira. You continue the ride to the market of Santo Serra, where you'll have sufficient time to dive into the special atmosphere of this market and the small village. The visit of Machico, the second-biggest city of Madeira with numerous sights, is the end of this eventful day.
