Detailed description

Horse riding on Majorca: Beautiful ride from Algaida through the valley of Randa

Conquer a very authentic, charming part of the island on the back of a strong horse and learn how a horse farm works on Majorca. You will get to know the compact Andalusians, an Iberian horse breed that is considered to be teachable, sensitive and robust and is also well suited for riding in a group. Riding in Mallorca is a very impressive nature experience, an activity for lovers and beginners. If you want to learn how to ride in Majorca, you will find the right horse here and people who are planning a riding holiday in Majorca will find the right riding stable. 2 wonderful rides from Algaida lead through the tranquil valley of Randa and thus through a very original region, in which many Mallorcans live in a down-to-earth and tradition-conscious way. Algaida is a central and historically important part of Mallorca. Horseback riding is possible near the capital Palma, which is only a 20-minute drive away.

Beginners and children from 7 years can also experience one of the two riding excursions. The equestrian farm on Majorca is adjusted to all levels of ability with multilingual guides. Both offers also include a 30-minute theoretical and practical part, in which you learn more about the horse farm Algaida, the Iberian Andalusians and their nature as well as about horse riding itself. If you like, you can also saddle your horse for the day ride. The riding route leads mostly over paths off the country roads, through the cultivated landscape of the island centre, past vineyards and almond trees, on secluded paths and paths. The Puig de Randa, which rises from the plain up to 542 meters and rests like a landmark above the villages, you have a good view. Who climbs the Table Mountain, enjoys from above an outstanding view over the island, with good visibility up to the Playa de Palma. With 3 monasteries on different heights, Puig de Randa is also an important place of pilgrimage.

The Andalusians of the horse farm do one ride a day, in rare cases two. The times are determined according to season and weather conditions. If the sun is still too high, the horses stay at home. The tranquillity of the Algaida region also affects the Andalusians, who are relaxed even in the larger group during the rides. They were also trained for this. So if you want to ride in Majorca and discover a beautiful part of the island, saddle your horse for a ride from Algaida through the valley of Randa!
