Booking option: VIP tour from the south of Mallorca to the west coast

Look forward to a panoarama trip through the Tramuntana to the valley of Sóller, places and landscapes away from the tourist greats and local guides who will inspire you with anecdotes and legends about the island. The route to the west coast of Mallorca offers an interesting perspective of the philosopher Ramón Llull (Mallorca 1232-1316) and Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria (1847-1915), a pioneer of tourism in Mallorca, both illustrious figures who have left an intense mark on the island.

The tour lasts about 5 hours and includes 2 snacks with typical Mallorcan products and a delicious pa amb oli tasting in a centuries-old olive oil mill. We start the Tramuntana tour with a visit to the Hermitage of Valldemossa, the small chapel is located just outside the village at a special viewpoint. Then we go to the former residence of the Archduke: Miramar Monastery. The name gives it away: there is a sea view. And what a view it is. Discover the interiors and the Byzantine gardens, full of stories, secrets and legends, and have some traditional quelitas cookies with cheese to finish the visit.
From the mountains of Valldemossa, we take the sightseeing route to the valley of Sóller and visit a century-old olive mill. This family-run business is a wonderful example of traditional olive oil production on the island. Here we also experience a Mallorcan "pa amb oli" tasting. Farmhouse bread, tomatoes, olives, cheese, ham and olive oil. For dessert a gató, an almond cake very typical of the island. Wine, water and a delicious freshly squeezed orange juice from Sóller (during the orange season).

Can Recommend

I can only say the tour was great, all the travel which will also address disciple audience and interesting information about the island Reported and so very secret recipes passed on only works for me somehow not Aloli. Schade The only negative thing I can I say about the tour rather were a few more hours left in the market and would have left the stop with lunch away.
