Detailed description

Relaxed Malta Segway Tour on Gozo - discover the east of the Maltese island

The Republic of Malta consists of an archipelago of 3 inhabited islands (Malta, Gozo and Camino) and 4 uninhabited small islands. Regular ferry connections make island hopping easy. The Malta segway tour in Gozo starts directly in the harbour of Mgarr. So if you arrive by boat especially for the sightseeing tour, this is ideal! Your guide will show you the beautiful east of the Maltese island with the two-wheeled vehicles driven by an electric motor. Before the trip starts, you will be familiarized with the one-person transporter. It is not difficult to keep the balance standing, because the segway keeps itself in balance. The tour takes you through the breathtaking Belvedere up the hill towards Qala. From there you have a great view of the coast, the Maltese archipelago and the Mgarr Marina.

The Malta segway tour in Gozo takes you to Fort Chambray, an ancient fortress overlooking the neighbouring island of Comino. You continue to the village of Ghajnsielem, where Bethlehem is recreated every year during the Christmas season and thus it becomes the "Christmas Village". You drive along the old windmill road to the oldest wood stove bakery in Gozo. There you can stop and taste the delicious sesame rings "Qaghaq" (not included in the price). The route continues and you pass a local produce farming area. From here you can see as far as Sicily in the distance when the visibility is clear and the weather is good. The Malta segway tour in Gozo's East is slowly coming to an end. On a beautiful panoramic road along the coast you start the return journey to Mgarr Harbour. The island of Comino is within reach!

Discover this beautiful Maltese island in the Mediterranean Sea comfortably, quickly and informatively. The local guide will show you the island from a local perspective, while you can enjoy the ride on the self-balancing electric two-wheelers and the fantastic views of the coast. The Gozo segway tour will inspire you!

Gozo & Segway = fun

Such a one-person vehicle is most useful when going up hills! Fort Chambray and the bakery were the highlights for me. Recommendation!

Gozo & Segway = Spass

Empfehlung!

Who knows what "Qaghaq" are?

The whole trip was a success. A calm experience with many beautiful details: views of the defiant fortress, the Christmas village and a shadowy view of Sicily. I would be happy to recommend this offer. PS: What "Qaghaq" are is at the top of the page text ...

Wer weiß, was „Qaghaq“ sind?

Malta Segway Tour in Gozo: Quality rating very good

A guided Segway excursion that I really enjoyed. The vehicles were well explained and were in good condition, which is even more important in these times. All hygiene requirements were met. The route is pleasant (mostly car-free) and the tour guide is very friendly.

No Remmy-Demmy tour

The two hours passed pleasantly standing on the Segway. A special highlight for me was the bakery - it reminded me of my childhood and my grandpa, who was a baker.

Keine Remmy-Demmy-Tour

Electrically traveling in Gozo

Such an e-two-wheeler is a great thing. Without much physical exertion, I was able to concentrate on the great coastal landscape that passed me. I liked it.
