You will be well prepared for your diving baptism in the marine reserve of Menorca. At the dive centre, the first thing is the theory. You will watch a video on the basic understanding of underwater sports and have a briefing with the dive guide about the diving equipment, the basic rules of diving and underwater communication. Afterwards there will be a joint exercise. Finally, we go into the water to enjoy the experience. We explore the marine protected area of Menorca and you dive in places that can only be reached by boat.

This is especially true of the marine reserve in the north of the island. You can get to know the underwater world of this protected zone during a trial dive in Menorca and at the same time open yourself up to the diving experience. Those who are curious if scuba diving could become their hobby, or simply want to know how it feels with equipment underwater, will find answers during this diving excursion. A professionally conducted course for beginners of all ages, which includes the basics of diving as well as practical exercises with the equipment.

You don't need any previous experience for the trial dive in Port d'Addais - everything you need to know will be taught by a qualified dive guide. In a compact form, all you need to know about the handling and use of the diving equipment, the basic rules of diving and underwater communication will be explained first in the diving center. Together with other diving novices you will watch instructional videos in a small group, which will be discussed with the guide. After a few dry runs, you will enter the water and get a feel for what it is like to breathe and move underwater. The highlight of the diving baptism is the common boat trip to a diving spot, where you can go directly and accompanied into the depth.
