We will meet you in Los Cristianos and take you up the mountain by minibus to the starting point of the mountain bike tour at an altitude of 2200m. From there we will start our descent to Vilaflor, the highest village in Tenerife. Here we visit a 500-year-old church built by the first European settlers on the island and take a well-deserved break at an organic bodega to sample the local wine and handmade cheese from the neighbouring village. The route is about 35km long and is mostly on safe, well-maintained and quiet back roads, all downhill, so you don't have to pedal and can just enjoy the ride.

An adventure for beginners and advanced bikers alike: the mountain bike tour through the Teide National Park down to the sea. It's 35 kilometres of beautiful scenery, 93% downhill and mostly on safe side roads. The best thing about the Teide bike ride, which takes around 3.5 hours, is that you don't have to struggle up the mountain. From Los Cristianos you are picked up in a minibus and start the descent at an altitude of around 2200 metres. There is a beautiful route between pine trees, rocks, Canarian villages and eventually the sea.

Basically anyone can do the Teide mountain bike tour, as long as they are confident on a bike and physically fit. The price includes full suspension mountain bikes, safety equipment (helmet) and transport up the mountain. The bike ride takes you down to Vilaflor, the highest village in Tenerife, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the pine forests. In Villaflor, stop in the shade of a 500-year-old church built by the first European settlers on the island and take a well-deserved break at an organic bodega to sample the local wine and handmade cheese from the nearby village.

On the way down, there are plenty of stops at viewpoints to photograph the spectacular scenery.
