Discover the volcanic landscape around the Papagayo Park and its beaches on a two-hour quad bike tour from Playa Blanca. A fun off-road section takes us to Playa de la Mujeres beach, where we make our first short stop and the guide tells us about the history of the place. We continue to Punta Papagayo, where we have time to walk down to Papagayo beach and take some photos. We then drive through Playa Blanca and take a path along the coast, where we stop near the natural swimming pools, where the guide will give us some brief information.

Option 2: Quad bike tour Playa Blanca - 3 hours

The three-hour quad bike tour from Playa Blanca also surprises right at the start with off-road and driving fun in Papagayo Park, which we leave in the direction of Las Breñas. We drive down to Janubio beach and make a stop at the salt pans with an explanation from the guide. Afterwards, we look forward to a wonderful drive through the lava desert with views of the coast of Playa Blanca.

From Playa Blanca: Quad bike tour Papagayo beaches & lava desert

Experience a real outdoor adventure with us on Lanzarote and explore the fantastic landscape of the volcanic island on a quad bike tour. We set off from Playa Blanca on two different routes to explore the diversity of the island, the coast, the lava desert and perhaps the most beautiful beach. Both tours include an exciting off-road section near the famous Papagayo beaches. Our quads are perfectly suited to this terrain and will take us over the rough tracks with lots of fun. During the two-hour ride, we reach the Punta de Pagapagyo viewpoint, from where we can overlook the white beach landscape. We make a photo stop here and savour the moment.

Those who opt for the three-hour quad bike tour from Playa Blanca head to the west side of the southern tip to Las Brenas and on to the black beach of Janubio, where the sea and lava melt meet. A unique place that is also known for the once largest salt pans in the Canary Islands. White gold is still extracted from the sea here today. If you want to enjoy the quad bike tour on Lanzarote to the full, you should ideally wear clothes that can get dusty. Closed shoes and long trousers are recommended.
