Option 1: Sea kayak tour Spinalonga

Meeting point for this kayak tour is the beach of Plaka. There you will experience a short introduction and start the paddle tour to the famous island "Spinalonga". Along the coast you admire the beauty of the small, uninhabited island and paddle past the bay of Tsifliki (Elounda) to the beach of Alikies. There is a break with picnic and time for snorkeling or swimming. Afterwards we cross the canal back to Plaka.

Option 2: Sea kayak tour Elounda

The beach of Elounda is the meeting point for this 2-3 hour kayak tour along the coast. At the old sink town of Olous we cross the turquoise blue water and drive up to the bay of Tsifliki. At the beach of Alikies we have a picnic with fruits and small delicacies before the tour leads back to the starting point Elounda.

Option 3: Sea kayak tour Agioi Pantes

The paddle adventure begins at the beach of Gargadoros, where you first get an introduction and learn more about the upcoming kayak tour. The destination of the first stage is the picturesque island of Agioi Pantes. There we will have the opportunity to swim and snorkel before reaching Lake Voulismeni where we will stop for a picnic. From there we return to Gargadoros.

The beach of Ammoudara is the destination of the kayak tour "Poseidon". Before the start there will be a detailed welcome and briefing at the beach. The route leads along the coast to the beach of Ammoudara and from there to the beach of Almyros, where the river meets the sea. After a short break with picnic we paddle to the thief cave "Listi spilio" and talk about history and tradition in Crete.

On the Poseidon route, for example, you can discover the beach of Ammoudara and the stolen cave worth seeing, where you can philosophize wonderfully about the history of Crete. Or you can paddle to Spinalonga and follow the interesting coast of the uninhabited island, which used to be an important strategic point.

On the kayak tour to the small island of Agioi Pantes you will pass through the beautiful Mirabella Bay and paddle home to Lake Voulismeni, located in the middle of Agios Nikolaos and connected to the sea by a canal. The change between sea and lake is an adventure in itself. The sea kayak tours on Crete last between 2.5 and 3 hours. This includes a 30-minute briefing by your guide and a small picnic during the paddle tour with fruits and delicacies. On the water you will also come to sightseeing: you will see many small villages, the mountainous hinterland and find hidden places on the coast which you could not reach on any other way.
